I brought my vehicle in after a minor fender bender with a motorized scooter. They kept my pathfinder for a month, but explained that everything had to go through my progressive agent, who had to come inspect my car and approve each order. As they took off the fender and a wheel piece they noticed my headlight and ac tube were also broken, so we had to wait through another round of approvals. They ordered my exact vehicle specs to make sure they got every part replaced correctly, down to every screw and bolt. The guy I worked with kept in touch regularly, reaching out with updates every couple of days, something I normally have to chase on when I drop my vehicle off at auto shops. My previous vehicle needed repairs and the auto shop I took it to didn't do that and the next spot I took it to after said I was missing a whole bunch of pieces and nothing was attached down correctly, so I highly appreciate it being done right the first time and not having to have future visits from skirting corners the first time around. Will be using Matrix auto body again for my future auto needs! read more

These guys are clearly awash in business and don't need mine. I called about getting an estimate to repair some previous damage on my daughter's car because the other driver's insurance had totaled the car. I just needed an independent estimate of the cost to repair damage that was not from the most recent accident. The guy on the phone was condescending and rude. He claimed he would have to bring the car into the shop and completely disassemble it to give a repair estimate. I've never heard such bs from a body shop before. If you need your Lexus or Ferrari repaired and have full insurance coverage these are the guys for you. If not, go elsewhere - unless you enjoy being insulted by a bloviating jerk. read more

When I accidentally took my passenger side mirror off, I feared the worst when it came to repairs. Online articles indicated that this was usually a $250 repair, if not more. I came across Matrix through searching on Yelp.Dave (the manager) quoted me $118 for the repairs and a new mirror. I was a bit skeptical, as it seemed to be far less than the going rate--some sites indicated the mirror would be that much alone. I decided to scheduled an appointment regardless. I couldn't have been happier with the results. The work was done very quickly and unilke many places, they didn't round up for a full hour of labor (they charged me for .75 hours). The guys in the office Dave (and I forget the other gentleman's name) were very professional and seemed to take a personal interest in their customers. My total bill was $118, just as had been quoted. I would highly recommend that you strongly give Matrix Auto Body consideration if you're in the market for car repairs. read more

The person who hit me's insurance sent an adjuster to me to do his own estimate of my repairs. He isn't associated with a repair shop. He said the next step is for me to call a repair shop to get the work done. All I wanted to do was schedule an estimate for repairs on my car. I spoke to Darrel from Matrix on the phone and he wouldn't even LOOK at my car without a copy of the estimate from the insurance company to go off of. I tried to explain that I just have a check from them and that I would be the one communicating if any extra repairs were needed outside of the adjusters quote. Darrel was extremely condescending on the phone and unwilling to listen to my specific situation. He was a total jerk. He kept saying I don't understand the process and talked to me like a child. I'm NEVER giving this place any business. He clearly wanted to get as much money from me as possible. All I wanted was for him to look at my cat and get an estimate which he refused to do. read more

I do not have much experience with body shops, in fact, I haven't had any experience with body shops prior to my visit to Matrix Auto Body. Body shops in general have a bad rap for ripping people off and being shady, so I was very skeptical and cautious about where I took my friends car after I did some damage to it. After some research on Yelp I came across Matrix Auto Body. I ordered the part of the bumper I damaged online, but it needed it to be painted and installed. I called up Matrix and they said they would do it for $100 bucks. That seemed totally reasonable to me so I took the car in. I have been to several autobody places over the years. A place recommended by Schomp BMW, Hatchs down the street from Matrix, and more lately 2 experiences with Murray Bodyworks. I had been of the opinion that all autobody shops take longer than expected and only provide good customer service when they sign you up. Boy was I wrong. I hit an elk in my Audi RS6. I had expected the bill to be $15,000 or more. However, Matrix did it for less than half that. And the big surprise was they finished the car quickly and kept me informed the whole way through. I am extremely impressed with Matrix and will never go to Murray or anywhere else. They are a class above for sure. read more

I went to Matrix based off of the reviews I read on yelp. I had body work done to the front end of my car due to 'the other guy' causing the accident. I was pleased with the work this body shop did on my car and the pleasant customer service I received from Darrell, but I was not pleased with how the interior of my car was left after I got my car back. The inside of my car had several spots of grease where it looked like the mechanics were careless in their cleanliness of the interior. There is also a small stain on my car door handle which refuses to come off. I spent a couple hours cleaning up the inside of my car and there are still a couple of stains inside and out. My car was repaired courtesy of 'the other guys' insurance so I can't speak in terms of cost since it wasn't my problem. The shop delivered my car on schedule as well. Again I was very pleased with the body work this shop did on my car. I would come back to this place again, but I would ask the shop to please take care to keep the interior of my car clean. read more

Doing more digging Yelp let me to Matrix. I called to see if I could get my car in, but they told me it would be about 9 days before they could touch it (they are really busy at Matrix because they are so good, and there were a lot of hail-damaged cars in the shop). I decided to wait to get in and made the appointment. I dropped my car off, and they called the rental company to come get me. From the moment I pulled in for a quote, until I picked up my vehicle, I had exceptional customer service here. Daryl is the best, he helped ease the stress of a car accident and his empathy is real. He walked me through each step, keeping me aware of everything and handling everything for me, from having the rental car place pick me up...to dealing with the insurance company. I rarely yelp about something, but since I chose this auto shop based exclusively on other yelper's experience, I feel like I should give feedback to those who may look for an auto shop in the future. My experience at Matrix started off great. I took my car in, had Tony- who runs the office, i believe- look it over and give me a time estimate. He said he could have all part ordered and in within a few days. I was so excited it would be done quickly. So, brought in my car, got my rental and waited to hear when it would be done. With Labor Day approaching, and with me going out of town, I actually left my car with them an additional 4 days and told them I'd be in first thing that Tuesday to pick it up. When I did, my alignment had not been fixed, which I didn't know till I had driven off and they didn't even clean my car!! He said they were planning to do that and were expecting me later that day. I said I had left the car with them extra days and didn't understand why it was not done. The following day, my seatbelt broke. It took him 5 days to get a new one in. What?!?! Kept saying the order didn't process correctly. Then I had to go back in to have the alignment finally finished. I was told me car would be detailed out for me then. Picked it up that day, and nope, sure enough. Not cleaned and he practically laughed when I asked why not. The customer service was ridiculous. I was the one constantly calling to check on things, so much was forgotten and, clearly, they just don't care about a full service, excellent experience. I will never go back. I had my X5 less than two months before somebody side swiped it on the street one cold snowy night. My first thought was to burn it to the ground at the airport. My second thought was to find a great auto body shop. Which I did. They remembered my name and called often with updates. They dealt with the insurance company to replace every single detail and even re-do the pin strip and replace the clear bra in an undamaged area, because it was just the right way to do it. I had a few issues with the car due to the battery having to be disconnected. While, ideally, they would have cleared up the computer brain stuff and the sunroof calibration before I had to google the fixes, Daryl's follow up and concern made up for it. They didn't just forget about it, because I was out of sight. Excellent. Daryl even took the rental car keys, so I didn't have to wait for them to show up. The most important thing is that I can't tell it was ever damaged. I mean I really, really can't tell. It looks like new, inside and out. Long story short: City of Breck plow bumps us from behind. New tailgate, bumper cover, paint. Called a few shops and ended up going with Matrix. Largely, these businesses operate when accidents happen, so you never really want to have a reason to call the body shop. But if you find yourself with $2300 worth of work to be done, I'd say, without hesitation, to go with these guys. The work they do is top notch, and I'm pretty thrilled with how our ride came out of the shop. As someone who's interested in entering this line of work in a drastic career change, they were kind enough to answer my questions about school, time, etc...which speaks volumes about the type of people who there. The manager at this location was very honest and professional. He told me that the quote he was giving me for the work would likely not be the cheapest if shopping around (it wasn't) but the Pearl White paint color on my Subaru made blending difficult and that I would likely not like the result if they did not spend extra time removing the door before spraying it. I'm always skeptical when it comes to auto body shops. Having just moved to the Denver area, when I was in a car accident, I didn't know where I should go, but I am so lucky that I found Matrix Auto Body. I have never felt more comfortable and at ease with an auto repair shop. When it came to moving my car to Matrix from the impound it was taken to after my accident, and getting an insurance adjuster out to look at my car, I have to say that I never once felt like I was doing all the work. Darrell and his team did a great job helping me by taking over the car portion of the job so I could focus on everything else I needed to deal with. When I went to get my things from my car, Darrell took a long time to work with me and talk me through his thought process--I was rear-ended very hard and I was worried that the integrity of the car would be gone if it were fixed, but he assured me that if he wasn't comfortable fixing the car, he wouldn't fix it. I could sleep well at night knowing that I was in good hands with Matrix Auto Body. Ultimately, my car was totaled, but the experience that I had at Matrix was so great that if I ever need anything else (hopefully not, but you never know), I will be going to Matrix, hands down. On a side note: if you ever feel intimated to call an auto body shop, because of the reception that you'll get, I never felt like my questions were treated as stupid or not important. Such great service at Matrix! After an accident I was in need of a new bumper, Matrix was the only body shop out of 5 that I called that could immediately see me for an estimate. There was a mix up about my old bumper, which I threw away not knowing they still needed the grills from it, then Darryl drove all the way to my apartment to come pick it up since I obviously didn't have my car anymore to give to them. Such great service, going above and beyond!!! The price was exactly as estimated and they said my car would take 3 days and it only took about 2 1/2. First, I would like to thank Darrell for explaining the process for getting my truck fixed with insurance. We scheduled a date to start repair work after the replacement parts arrived so I would be without my truck the shortest amount of time. Fortunately my truck was safe to drive after the accident. Darrell arranged for the rental car drop off and pick up while my truck was being fixed. He also worked out the details with my insurance adjuster to cover a few minor items. It is not pleasant to be involved in an accident and have to get a repairs done but these guys make it as easy as possible. I'm very happy with my decision. Amazing, super friendly customer service and my car looks good as new.
