(Visited 7 times over the course of a couple of months with the last visit on 12/17/2019.) So I was…read moredoing my work up the street from here and I don't really like the guilty feeling I have after eating fast food, but I wouldn't consider this place "fast food" so I didn't feel as bad. I discovered it way too late in my opinion or else I would've eaten here more often! Lol. So I'll tell you why I liked this place so much. Atmosphere/Appearance: Right on the edge of the industrial section of Varennes is this gem, slightly tucked away behind a gas station. It's a big stand-alone building with a private parking lot and of course, a drive through! It just feels SO NICE inside the giant open building. The ceilings are high, stuff is clean and it just feels... nice! Lol. There's a play area in the back for kids, a separate room for families to dine and lots of natural light pouring in. Service: There isn't much service because you go up to the order window, place your order then you're given a buzzer which will activate when your food is ready. You then return to the counter and retrieve your meal! Food: What continuously drew me here is the simplicity of the food and the salad bar. I stuck with the 6-piece chicken tender that usually comes with fries, coleslaw and bread, but I would sub all of those sides for the soup/salad bar. The food is made-to-order because it always came out piping hot. Of course you could also eat as much soup and salad as you desired. Value: VERY good for the amount of food you're getting! I think I'd spend about $19.00CAD here each time I came and I usually need a nap by the time I'm done. Lol. In conclusion, this is my lunch spot. Period. Lol. I may alternate with a couple of others nearby, but I loved this place. It was fast, simple and you don't have to shell out a whole bunch of money.

For those not in the know or not from Canada, St-Hubert Express is a rotisserie chicken chain that…read moreoperates in Canada and is probably most prevalent in the province of Quebec. Yes, Canada has many casual chains like the U.S. and, if you're a foodie, the full Canadian food experience is not complete without exploring them! With that said, the menu pretty much consist of sandwiches or entrees that include some form of rotisserie chicken, plain or with sauce. Oh, and, of course, they serve a fast food version of poutine. Like I said, OF COURSE. On our first trip to a St-Hubert Express, we ordered some rotisserie chicken to share and had 2 different sides - fries and rice. Interestingly, their chicken entrees come with 2 sandwich buns. Obviously, you can either eat the buns alone or make a makeshift rotisserie chicken sandwich by shredding the chicken off of the bone, but, who has time for that???? Wouldn't one just order the sandwich if they wanted this option? Nevetheless, you have options. As for what does make sense, the chicken comes with a side of gravy and good thing it does. The rotisserie chicken was a bit on the dry side so I dipped it in the gravy every chance I had. It's not the worst rotisserie chicken, but they could do better. The rice was on the hard side, as though it was uncooked. Not sure if it was meant to be like that. The fries weren't bad though and kind of reminded me of McD's. This location is located on a main road, but it does have a large parking lot. Also, it's seems to be located in a large shopping area where there is an A&W, Dollar Tree and multiple supermarkets. It's definitely convenient and many customers go for takeout, but the restaurant does have a decent number of dine-in customers during dinner time.

Bravo à cette équipe toujours souriante et qui s'empresse de nous servir! Endroit prore.read more

We walked in and were so confused at what we were about to do looking at all the ceiling vents over the tables, but it was so fun and entertaining of a meal! It reminded me of a fondue place with Korean food. You order from your phone (super easy) and the food magically shows up. You cook it in front of you and it was all so tasty! We loved the noodles, the sushi, and all the flavorings of the meats. I didn't love the sushi pizza being fried (but we were getting so full by that point haha)z My husband would have loved this place since it was all you can eat haha. We unfortunately didn't try the desert since we were looking forward to ice cream cones. Only surprise was a 30% service charge that we weren't expecting! Definitely come hungry to get your money's worth.

I made a reservation online for 715pm which was quite easy to do. Also, there's a ton of parking since it is situated in a strip mall. We had to wait no more than 5 minutes to wait for a table. Usually when it comes to AYCE places, people complain about how long it takes to get their food. Not this place! I don't know how many people they have working in the back but the management are doing a mighty fine job. There's also a lot of staff from busboy/girl, waiters, hostesses and you can't forgot the robot ! The raw meat was well seasoned. They even had lamb chops. Yes you read right, lamb chops marinated with cumin. They were cooked to perfection and hot. Now that I done blabbing about them, I never have too much faith in the nigiri or maki but it was delicious. The sashimi was fresh and cold. The cook cut the fish in smaller pieces which I appreciate- I dread of buying into one big blob of raw fish. The soup looks plain and white but they put white pepper and it hit the spot. White pepper tastes completely different than black by the way for anyone who is wondering. My mom loved it. I loved it and will be back!!
