Established in 2002.

Matt & Shea Photography began in August 2002 with a passion for creating meaningful portraits and lasting memories for families across the Chattanooga area. For 15 years, our studio proudly served the community from our Lakesite location at 8509 Hixson Pike, photographing generations of local families, seniors, newborns, athletes, and weddings. Originally known as Image Photography, the studio officially became Matt & Shea Photography in 2022 when Shea graduated high school and joined the business full-time, turning it into a true father-and-daughter team. During the challenges of 2020, we focused heavily on giving back to the community by offering photography support for graduating seniors, first responders, healthcare workers, and local heroes during the COVID pandemic. Today, we continue combining creativity, experience, and community connection to create portraits families treasure for generations.

Matt & Shea Photography is a family-owned portrait studio led by father-and-daughter team Matt and Shea Wolcott. Matt began his professional photography career in 2002 and has over 20 years of experience photographing families, seniors, weddings, newborns, athletes, and professionals throughout the Chattanooga area. Known for his creative lighting and cinematic style, he has earned multiple photography awards while building a reputation for making clients feel comfortable and confident during their sessions. Shea joined the business full-time after graduating high school in 2022 and quickly became a creative driving force behind the brand. Her passion for seniors, families, styling, and modern trends helped inspire the studio’s evolution into Matt & Shea Photography. Together, they combine experience, creativity, and family values to create portraits clients treasure for generations.
