History

Established in 2016.

Matt Skelly had a vision to start a unique facility geared toward the health and fitness of Wilmington residents. As a personal trainer, it was important for him to open a gym that centered on the training of individuals to help them get results and achieve their goals. In 2016, he opened Matt Skelly Training.

Meet the Business Owner: Matt S.

As a child, Matt was overweight and eventually became obese. It wasn't until high school that he turned his life around and went from 30% body fat to the single digits. Throughout his transformation he did not just change physically but mentally as well. He has dedicated his life to helping others with their physical and mental transformations to get the most out of life. ​ Matt is an avid advocate for ending childhood obesity, holding seminars for parents and teachers. He is the owner of Grow to Health, a children's program created to develop healthy behaviors. With many exciting programs in development he continues to reach many individuals to better their lives. He genuinely cares about others and enhancing their quality of life by implementing his unique training system.
