From the beginning, she insisted on cross-qualifying me through her own process and put my lender through what felt like endless scrutiny. My lender remained professional, responsive, and respectful throughout every interaction, yet it seemed nothing was ever good enough. What bothered me most was that instead of conducting basic research on my lender's qualifications and track record, she chose to repeatedly question and challenge him. She then communicated to my agent that she was unhappy with my lender, despite apparently not taking the time to properly evaluate him herself. The result was three days of unnecessary panic, confusion, and stress for everyone involved. Rather than facilitating a smooth transaction, her actions created delays, uncertainty, and distrust. As a buyer, it felt like she was more focused on creating obstacles than solving problems. A listing agent's job is to represent the seller while still conducting business professionally and efficiently. In my experience, the lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and unnecessary pressure made an already stressful process significantly worse.
