The billing process is horrible. You aren't given the opportunity to pay without getting harassed which seems like every two weeks. The office staff is also kind of rude. The doctors seem to be concerned. The total experience wasn't acceptable. read more

Amazing staff of trained professionals who have the skills to work with patients of all ages. I have been a patient of the Parkway Dental team for over a year and recently brought my son for his first dental visit. Kate and Dr. Chow were attentive and even allowed my son to watch as I got my teeth cleaned. This made him more comfortable with the process when it was his turn. So I had a broken tooth and went on yelp to look for a dentist in the area and was shocked to find so few reviews in this category, But I found one and thought I would give them a try and was GLAD I did. Not being from the area I was hesitant to go find a new dentist but with the broken tooth, I had no choice. I called at 9:00 this morning and they were able to see me at 10:45. First step is great. Showed up at 10:40 and filled out the paperwork and they had me in an exam room by 10:55. Still batting 1000. After a quick x ray, Dr. Chow walks in less than 5 mintues later and starts giving me his exam. Awesome service. Several minutes later, the bad news comes. Tooth is broken and he doesn't recommend the inlay and I will need a crown. Delivers bad news, but lays out three options. I go with the crown and low and behold he is going to work through lunch and have it in TODAY!!! WTF!?! My Cali dentist didn't even offer that kind of service. He numbed me with NO PAIN, offered me the gas, because I HATE grinding and drilling and an hour and a half later I am walking out with a great fitting crown, no pain and mouth is already back to normal with no numbness. Staff was awesome and prices were reasonable. Dr. Chow has great bedside manners and is patient, knowledgeable and considerate. He explained everything to me and I never felt rushed or that I was being passed on to a hygienist. Service was so good I scheduled the dreaded cleaning for next week!!! I think I found my new dentist!!! read more

I found a dentist who made replacing a crown a pleasant experience. Thought that was impossible! But this dentist and his staff did it! I felt well cared for during the whole visit. It started with walking into a tastefully designed reception and waiting area. It felt warm and welcoming. Great comfortable chairs and interesting magazines made me feel right at home. (I even liked the bathroom, which has mouthwash & small plastic cups available for patients to use. PLUS, I loved the unique tile on the floor). But back to the process of replacing my crown. I had an exposed nerve. It was driving me crazy - so I was in a hurry to take care of it. During the process the Dentist and assistant were professional, business-like and fast! They moved like an experienced team from beginning to end. I liked the fact that the dentist checked with me often throughout the time I was in the chair. I had no problems with any of the steps...and I was worried I might. He even discovered a small cavity on the neighboring tooth. Showed me where it was on the xray and took care of that too! Best of all - 1, He replaced my crown in ONE VISIT. He has a machine in his office that makes the replacement crown as I wait. Not all dentists have this, but I am glad this one does. I don't have to wear a temporary crown and don't need to come back in two weeks for the new one. Once and Done. What a luxury for me! I love it, especially the fact it doesn't cost any more! 2. He call me 5 hours after the new crown was in and asked how I was feeling. I felt great and told him so. Then I realized he had to give me more pain killer than usual, because he had to take care of a cavity and a crown. Yet he knew what the perfect amount would be. In other words, he really knows how much (or how little) to give so I don't feel anything during (or have a reaction after) the session. This morning (the next day) that corner of my gums felt a little sore when I brushed my teeth. Now it's fine. Great results for some pretty intensive tooth work! I will be back whenever I need a dentist! read more

Dr. Chow is always nice, caring and informative. Most of the ladies have been there for years. They seem to get along and work well together. They are always nice and pleasant. I never have to wait long before I'm called to the back. I like that they value my time just as much as theirs. read more

First experience was excellent, although the second time wasn't so good! I asked how much it would cost to get a tooth checked out because it was bothering me and I don't have insurance because I'm a student and they said they would be right back. Sure enough the dentist came in and I asked him before you look at me can you tell me how much it costs, he said sure then said I'm fine and to come back in a few months for a check up. Upon check out I was told it was $70 and it was a "discount". Needless to say my 10 min talk to the dentist about California ended up costing me $70 for a pat on the back and a rude front desk lady. She even had the nerve to say well maybe then you shouldn't come here. So take her advice and don't come here!! read more

Went for my filling on 7-11-13 and was promptly called in for my scheduled appointment. From start to finish, I was done in less than 25 minutes. The injections were painless and the process was perfect. Fortunately, I don't have any other dental issues to be addressed, but I will definately be back if I do and will recommend him to all my family and friends. I was traveling for work in the Jackson area and needed to see a dentist as soon as possible. The staff was very responsive, and I was able to make a next-day appointment at a convenient time for me. Dr. Chow and his team were friendly and professional. I got all my questions answered during my visit, and my dental problems were quickly resolved, thanks to the medications Dr. Chow prescribed. Customer service is subpar to say the least. I was told to find another dentist or bring in an explanation of benefits. Dr. Chow refused to talk to me on the phone and explain to me why this was the protocol for his office and no other provider requires it. read more
