When I told my then-fiancé that we were doing engagement pictures, he was less than excited. But from the second we met Casey, we were both instantly relaxed. She did an incredible job of making us feel comfortable and focus on each other, rather than the camera. She was fun and easy going, which turned the day into a great memory. By the end of it, my fiancé actually asked me why we don't do things like this more often! And the pictures were AMAZING! She captured our love, relationship and personalities SO well! We could not have been happier or felt more comfortable with our photographer choice going into the wedding. And then came the wedding. Casey and Vanessa KILLED it!!! For starters, we were running behind schedule when they arrived, so they had to re-arrange their timeline of when we would take certain pictures. They did this flawlessly, actually calming my stress instead of adding to it. They had a great time taking pictures of the groomsmen before and really let them be themselves. The pictures are priceless. Just as the ceremony was getting ready to start outside, it started to rain. These two did not bat an eye as they stood in the pouring, cold rain, capturing every moment of our day. In addition to taking amazing pictures they lent their jackets, held umbrellas and wrangled a very large, loud bridal party with the perfect mix of fun and business. By the time we were ending the night at the reception, my dad ended up insisting he take a picture of my husband and I with Casey and Vanessa, because they were SUCH an integral part of our wedding day! The pictures were delivered to us very quickly and could have been more beautiful or genuine. I knew when I was looking for a photographer for my wedding, I wanted someone who would capture our…read moreday as it unfolded, however it ended up. I have a deep hatred for too many posed photos because I think I'm more keen on the genuine moments that happen, especially on a wedding day. I have been to weddings where the photographer was intrusive and disrupted those special moments, and I knew that's certainly not what i wanted. My husband and I are thankful to have found Greg and his amazing company. They have been wonderful and were even willing to work with us on our much smaller budget. Greg has been nothing but kind and easy to work with. He's easygoing and it shows from the moment you meet him, exactly the kind of person you'd want to be around you all day, because even if you don't know him well, he makes you feel comfortable. After receiving our photo album, I can't even say enough good things about his work! The photos are vibrant and uniquely captured our day. He caught many moments of genuine smiles and laughs from us as well as our guests, and I hardly noticed he was around (unless he pulled me away for photos of course). There was a good blend of those necessary posed photos with family and friends, and a heck of a lot of everything else as the day progressed. I would highly recommend Liefde to anyone looking for a photographer. They go above and beyond and their photos far exceed any other "professional" on so many levels. If I have any future photography needs, I will definitely keep them in mind.

The bride looked absolutely stunning and the groom just adorable. My favorite shots besides those taken of the couple and the ceremony were the shots on the dance floor which is where everyone was at after enjoying a very memorable meal at Cascade Resort. I personally just wished more shots were taken of the bride and groom with their bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as all of us in a group. I was really bummed we (the bridesmaids) didn't get one on one shots with the bride. Saying that the ones that were taken turned out solid. It would have been nice to have had some photos of all of us in some creative poses. It's was a difficult day to shoot as things were hectic when an outdoor wedding had to be planned indoors last minute but then the sun came out so the outdoor wedding was game on. Turns out that kind of weather (with not much sun) was perfect for taking photos. Either way the bride and groom looked amazing and the day could not have been better and more special.

I had been thinking about a boudoir shoot for a while, and looking at different photographers without feeling much of a connection - this is WAY out of my comfort zone, so knew that it had to be a perfect fit or I would just be fine not doing it at all. When I found Frances, I knew she was the only one I could see myself trusting enough to actually go for it. She was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. We video-chatted beforehand to get a sense of how things would go, she had a great makeup/hair artist who made me feel very glamorous and looking my best before everything started, and there was some bubbly to boot! I brought a lot of options since I am a) indecisive and b) had no idea how comfortable I would feel, and had so much fun with Frances helping me to choose and guide through a progression of outfits. I felt almost instantly comfortable with her, and she gave fantastic guidance throughout the whole process. Honestly, it wound up being the most fun I have had in a while, and very empowering. Frances and Jen were so amazing the day of our wedding and were able to move the photos along so that we stayed on time yet got all the pics we wanted. We were so excited when we got our photos back and saw how much of they day they were able to capture. I love how they got the formal photos, but also the informal ones where everyone's personality really shines through.
