Gerry is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. I walked into the store late evening and you could tell he was busy but he stopped everything to address my needs and ask me a couple of questions. I informed him that I had went to a different store on my lunch break and really liked a particular mattress but it was not in my budget and the salesman there told me the mattresses weren't on sale and will never go on sale so I left and googled who else sold that brand. That gentleman all told me had to buy the box spring because if I didn't it would void the warranty of the mattress. When I got to mattress emporium I asked Gerry the same questions and he assured me I would still be eligible for the warranty and I did not have to buy the box spring. I also told Gerry the price of the other establishments mattress and Gerry matched that price and took additional off and gave me free delivery. I bought it right then. I showed Gerry a platform bed frame I was thinking about buying and he gave me advice on what I should be looking for. My mattress was delivered the next day and Gerry sent me a text asking me to give him a call. I called him right back and he informed me my mattress was in my house and he entered my warranty information online and everything was good to go. I've been needing a new mattress for quite a while since my old one was 20 years old! I was actually dreading the experience of "shopping" for one since there is so many types and prices are way more than 20 years ago. Since I had taken the day off from work, I decided to go to a few different stores and just "look". Nothing but "look". It was 02\21\22, President's Day. I happen to see the Mattress Emporium's sign while getting gas and decided to start my search there. I walked in and was promptly greeted by Gerry. He asked me what type of mattress I was "looking" for? LOL!! Well, I told him I had no clue but through a few very pointed questions, he narrowed my quest down to a Semi-Firm mattress. Had me to lie down as I would when I slept, (on my side), and asked if any of my pressure points were hurting and even my sore shoulder was not in pain! This was a Jasmine Hybrid Semi-Firm mattress. So, I did buy the mattress and was so happy I didn't have to continue searching! He delivered it to me the same day! Are you moving to the Leland area of North Carolina? We just moved from New York to Compass Pointe. It's very stressful to relocate. Don't let buying a mattress add to the stress. We went to Mattress Emporium to buy new mattresses. Our furniture wasn't delivered yet by our movers, but we went to Mattress Emporium and they delivered the mattresses the same day so we would have something to sleep on. They have a wonderful selection of mattresses to choose from, and there are no hidden costs. There is absolutely no pressure at this store. Adrienne helped us in the store, and Chris came to deliver the mattresses later in the day. He even put the mattress covers on after the mattresses were set up in the rooms. I came into Mattress Emporium to shop and compare prices and different mattress types. The salesperson Gerry was very informative on the differences between mattress types, support and health benefits or all type of mattress models. there was no pressure to buy or any of the tactics that salespeople use and I ended up coming back and making a purchase. I really enjoy my new Tempur-Pedic and felt like I needed to leave some type of review to show my appreciation. Most companies just want to sell you something and get you out of the door, but the folks at Mattress Emporium act like a really do care. My girlfriend and I recently were in the market for a new mattress and figured we would shop local before going online. We ended up at Matress Emporium, located in the Harris Teeter shopping center, to try out some memory foam matress options. Although they also carry other mattresses, we fell in love with Temperpedic options. They we able to fit us to the right firmness, as well as match online pricing when we decided to buy. The icing on the cake was they removed our old king sized bed free of charge and delivered and installed our new bed exactly 1 hour after we purchased.
