She scheduled delivery for Wednesday, July 15, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and provided the store with her complete address, including her apartment number. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on the day of delivery, the delivery team called to let her know they were on the way. A short time later, they called again to apologize, explaining that they had forgotten to load her TV and would be about 20 minutes late. My mother understood and told them that was fine. While she continued waiting, she suddenly received a text message stating that her delivery had been completed. This was confusing because no one had contacted her, knocked on her door, or delivered anything directly to her apartment. I called the delivery service on my mother's behalf while she went downstairs to check. She lives in a senior citizen building with a front desk attendant, so there should have been no difficulty locating her apartment or notifying her of the delivery. To our surprise, we found the air conditioner and TV left unattended in the building's lobby alongside the mail and other packages. The delivery team never attempted to bring the items upstairs, despite assuring my mother at the time of purchase that they would deliver everything directly to her apartment. What made the situation even worse was that the delivery crew had opened the TV box to test the television, then placed it back inside without properly closing or resealing the box. They simply left it open and walked away. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Not only did they fail to complete the in-home delivery that was promised, but they also left expensive electronics unattended in a public area where they could have easily been stolen or damaged. Considering that my mother is a senior citizen, this was especially frustrating and inconsiderate. I expected much better from PC Richard & Son. I hope the company addresses these delivery practices so that other customers--especially seniors--do not have to experience the same level of poor service.

As an interior designer who has been purchasing furniture for clients for more than 21 years, I have ordered from countless vendors and have never experienced a return policy like this. When the shelf arrived, I realized it wasn't the correct match for a unit my client had already received. Since my client wanted a matching pair, I immediately requested a return. The item was not damaged--I simply needed to return it because it wasn't the right piece for my project. What happened next was shocking. Although the company agreed to accept the return, they deducted a 30% restocking fee ($338.10), round-trip shipping charges of $636.58, and the associated tax, for a total deduction of $1,042.91. On a purchase of roughly $1,200, I received a refund of only $162.98. Advertising "free shipping" feels very misleading when customers can later be charged hundreds of dollars in shipping costs if a return is necessary. Had I known that returning an item would cost me over $1,000, I never would have placed the order. Every company has the right to establish its own return policy, but I believe customers should be made aware of the true financial risk before purchasing. In my opinion, this policy is unreasonable and far outside what I've encountered in over two decades of buying furniture professionally. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not purchase from this company again. I encourage anyone considering ordering from them to read the return policy very carefully and understand exactly what it could cost if your item doesn't work out.

Although the new mattress was delivered and assembled with ease, my nightmare started when no one ever showed up to pick my old mattress/box spring. I was sent a link via email which I filled out, however I was never scheduled a pickup time or date. I initially spoke with the store manager Nadine, who only resent the link to me to no avail. I emailed Casper's support team however they were also no help. I had to call back Casper again and spoke with another store manager Becca, who actually managed to fill out the pickup request, however days later no one ever came to pick up the old mattress. My old mattress and box spring CURRENTLY is still in my apartment waiting to be picked by loadup, this is going on day number 5! I had to call Casper store every single day since the date of purchase trying to schedule for pickup of old mattress. The store managers have not been able to resolve this issue at all! Furthermore, I ended up contacting loadup myself, which is third party Casper is using for pickup. The representative informed me that the request was only submitted three days after I purchased the mattress however Casper did not provide them with any billing information and consequently was unable to provide the service. How is it that loadup did not receive any form of payment when I initially paid $250 extra to have my items removed from my apartment?! And to top things off due to all this unnecessary stress and frustration from Casper lack of basic competency and integrity. I haven't gotten to enjoy this $3,000 mattress I spent so much money on. I'm really upset and annoyed about all of this. Customers should not be treated this way when I paid for a service and it is not being rendered to me.
