We had a great afternoon at Maui brewing Company. It's always a delight to come here, drink some tasty beer, and eat amazing food. Today we ordered pork belly baos and Huli Huli chicken. Both were popping with deliciously fresh flavors! The menu has a wide variety of tasty bites, salads, and local spins that elevate brewery classics. Our server was friendly. It's a team effort, so drinks and food were brought out by other friendly folks. We didn't have to wait long, and our server checked on us a couple of times. All was good! Located in Kihei, this beautiful and spacious brewery has plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and room for hanging out playing games while enjoying your beverages. I was really satisfied with this place! A gorgeous property with a solid menu, great bar and a phenomenal beer list (duh, it's a brewery). I had the fish tacos, which I thought tasted great with a good amount of spice, however I thought they could've given me more than 7 chips for my salsa. I can't remember the cocktail I had but it was really tasty and so were both of the beers I tried. It seems like they often host fun events and it's a lively place to come for a good time. You have stunning panoramic views while playing corn hole and a cold beer, just can't be beat! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Maui. read more

We went here on Father's Day 2026. Not surprisingly it was relatively busy and there was a wait to get seated. Maybe 15 minutes nothing too bad. Got seated and put in our orders pretty quickly. Waitress was helpful in answering questions. I was a little disappointed that when they brought our drinks out, they didn't bring it to any specific person. They just put all the beer glasses in one place so it was hard to know which glass was what or for whom. I've never had that problem before...they always asked who had what. This time they didn't. We were also disappointed that there was a sizable time gap for all of the entrees to come out. Our fish entrees all came out first...and it was like another 5-10 minutes before the burgers came out. It made those eating burgers feel uncomfortable and they just asked those with the fish to eat ahead of them. Also, one of our burgers came without fries, which we specifically ordered. Last disappointment was that we ordered an ube cheesecake which didn't come out after close to 20 minutes so we just cancelled it. I was surprised their desserts took that much time to come out, but pretty much all the food was on the slow side coming out. Don't get me wrong the food was all good, as were the drinks. But the kitchen time (or the time for the runners to get to the kitchen orders) needs to be improved. I am a bit bias and spoiled by living in an area with access to an endless amount of microbreweries (Bay Area - California) because I've been underwhelmed by most of the beers I tried from Maui Brewing. I love the logo design and collect the merch but as far as the beer, my consensus over the 3-4 times visiting in the last 5 years has consistently been meh(not location specific but in general). We decided to dine here and hang out for happy hour here due to convenience. Since we didn't want to commit to a pint of anything, we ordered a couple of flights just to sample most of the beer menu. I'd say service was great, and appetizers were quite delicious. Our favorites include truffle fries and the pretzel. Excellent service from the waitstaff as the guy checked in on us regularly and brought us water for the hot hot day. I heard that there is live music in the evening but we left before it was time so we didn't get a chance to enjoy this. read more

What a fun night we had at this place. First, I recommend making a reservation as they are very popular. We used Open Table. Our group got seated right at the edge of the outdoors and had a clear sight line to that night's performer. She was awesome and it was great to see the parents take their young kids up to the stage to entertain them for a little bit. Let me start of by saying I've never eaten at a restaurant that has invested in a Flowater, only time I've ever had water from that 7x filter machine was at a Fairmont so let's just say the water was amazing. Sadly from there meh on everything else. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a musician was wrapping up as we got there Saturday around 730pm. We ordered the ceasar salad add chicken, kids grilled cheese, and a kale salad. The ceasar was probably worse ceasar we have ever had. Not sure the dressing was actually ceasar and there was water at bottom of salad, they didn't dry off the lettuce. The chicken was rubbery. We did ask they to take price off chicken off and they comped us the salad. The Kale salad was ok but they didn't even cut the kale so some of the pieces were huge and I had to figure out how to cut them in a round bowl with a dull knife. This last week I returned because I had to have the butterfish again and was extremely disappointed! We stopped by for dinner without a reservation and were quoted a 45-minute wait. Totally fair for dinner time -- and we didn't mind at all since they have a beer garden where you can relax while you wait. Even better, we were seated in about 10 minutes! Our server was efficient, attentive, and helpful in walking us through the dinner options. We ordered the calamari fries, kale salad, and a pizza. The calamari fries were delicious -- a must if you're a calamari fan. The sauce paired perfectly and really brought the dish together. We arrived a little before 3 PM and was nicely surprised that they had happy hour from 3-5 PM. There were discounts on beers, cocktails, select appetizers, and pizza. We always love happy hour! Our server was very friendly, patient, and attentive throughout our meal. For our drinks, we ordered the Double Overhead DIPA, Shibata, Waimea Red, and Mango Stickee Rice IPA. The Shibata was nice, light, and refreshing. The Waimea Red and Double Overhead DIPA were also very good. My wife really enjoyed the Mango Stickee Rice IPA as it had hints of mango, jasmine rice, and coconut. It was such a unique beer and we were glad we were able to try it. For food, we ordered the Black Garlic Truffle Fries and The Hunter pizza. The fries were delicious and it came with ketchup and another dipping sauce. That dipping sauce paired very well with these fries. The Hunter pizza came with guava BBQ pork, pineapples, mozzarella, jalapeños, and more. It was tasty and we definitely enjoyed it. Our last meal before catching our flight home! Love this huge space, it's very family friendly and has indoor and outdoor space. There's live music every night, we really enjoyed sitting out on the patio listening. We drove past quite a few signs on the Road to Hana advertising Huli Huli chicken so I'm glad I got to try the sauce here! The setting it's very nice and well decorated atmosphere but we were standing around in the lobby area. I couldn't understand why we were waiting and waiting and there weren't many people there in the restaurant I generally like Maui beer I ordered an amber ale, which was lighter than I'm used to. It needed to be a little heartier but still tasted OK I thought the drink service was a little slow Once the food came, it was good and we had some of their local whiskey that was good and then the wings and pizza they're all tasty. My boyfriend constantly drinks Maui Brewing Co Beers especially when visiting the Hawaiian Islands. So coming here was special. Outside there was cute string lights that lit up an area where there were games to play with friends and family. They had live music as well! We enjoyed some beers and waited for the rest of our party. We tried a few of their beers and they were all pretty good. They also have some packs ready to-go by the hostess (right when you come in). We took a pack of their IPA back with us. It was good times. We went a second time during our trip, and sat at the bar since it was just two of us. It was pretty difficult to get someone to attend to us, despite it not being overly crowded. The guy sitting next to us let us share his menu so that we would be prepared when it finally was our turn. It took a while but I finally just asked someone if they could take our order. We stopped into Maui Brewing Company on our first day in Maui after some poke on the beach, just looking to ease into island mode with a few beers. It was the perfect choice. We didn't take any of the brewery tours, but like most brewing companies, it's super casual. You can walk right in, grab a seat at the bar, or get seated at a table inside or outside. The space looks like it's well set up for events, with lots of open-air seating and a relaxed layout. We shared two samplers, mixing some of their classics with a few seasonal picks. Great variety and an easy way to get a feel for their lineup. The staff was friendly and fast, and it was surprisingly quiet for a Wednesday lunchtime which made it all feel very chill. We didn't try the food, but everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and appetizing. There was a wait to be seated and we later found out their happy hour started at 3:00 which made it busier than usual. Without knowing we timed it just right! This is a pretty big brewery with both inside and patio seating. During happy hour they offer discounts on some drinks and eats. We ordered some drinks and an order of chicken bites to share. We enjoyed our Kula berry mojito and cold beer and the chicken bites were good but some of the smaller bites were tough and overcooked making it hard to chew. Pretty much your traditional bar food. We would have probably been better off ordering a pizza. Overall we enjoyed our time here. The outside area where they have lawn games you could play also had live music. Was so glad to make it over to Maui Brewing Company in Kihei, after a morning snorkeling over at Ulua Beach. This place is big! The beer was as good as I had hoped. I wish I had ordered a sampler, but instead opted for the Pineapple Chi Chi and then the Pueo. I really liked the Pueo! Had fish tacos for my meal. They were good - my only nit is the fish was just lukewarm by the time it was brought out. I think it must have been sitting a while. Aside from that, glad that we made it here! read more
