A plate of fried mackerel, rice, plus pickled vegetables and complimentary bread are the ideal foods for a lunch next to the Black Sea. The pickled vegetable plate was beautiful as they shaped the vegetables and beautifully arranged it into a bowl. Great service, kind people, delicious food, and awesome views!!

This review is for Gun Batimi Canli Balik restaurant in Filyos (Zonguldak). Six of us landed at…read morezonguldak airport and got taxis down to the beach. The owner set up a covered table on the deck and within an hour brought out two trays of fried fish, salads and bread. The fish were the size of sardines and there were two different kinds. One tasted like mackerel and the other like cod. Anyway they were eaten whole and very delicious. After a swim in the sea the restaurant owner let us take showers in his hotel for free before we headed back to Ankara. Great food and service for a reasonable price. Owner is a great guy.
