I got a normal flat tire, but when Mavis put the wrong size tires on my all-wheel drive Subaru a piece of my transmission broke. Mavis said they would pay for my tows and all damages, which they then refused to pay for either. My local mechanic and Rafferty Subaru stated while they can't 100% confirm due the nature of cars, they believe the damage was due to Mavis's inability to read a tire sizing chart correctly. I had a clean inspection two weeks before the flat tire. The worse part of this experience was not having to pay such a large bill due to Mavis's ineptitude, but the utter lack of professionalism I encountered. The local branch manager was responsive and kind, but because the issue would need to be paid by Mavis insurance I had to work with the regional manager, John D. Working with him felt like I was patiently having to help a first-time employee who has not yet built the professional maturity to talk through a difficult situation. John misrepresented his conversation with Raftery Subaru, confirmed by Raftery, and after promising to pay for at least my tows, never returned a phone call or contacted me. I called Mavis HR to try to help and never had my inquiry returned after I was promised another regional manager would call me. I waited two months to write this review - hoping for some communication and baseline professionalism. I am writing to express my deep concerns and disappointment with the service I received at the Brookhaven, PA Mavis location, a facility I have been a long-time customer of. Historically, I have encountered delays and inadequate communication regarding repair timelines at this location. While these issues were frustrating, I never felt cheated or scammed until my most recent visit for an inspection in late 2023. During my initial inspection in November 2023, I was failed for four tires and wiper blades. Subsequently, I had new tires installed elsewhere and replaced the wiper blades on my own. Upon returning for a reinspection, I was informed of a list of extensive repairs needed, including front lower control arms, front axles, rear brake pads and rotors, rear lower forward control arms, and rear upper control arms. This raised immediate skepticism as my vehicle had only been driven 605 miles between the two inspections. When I questioned the results, the manager, Ben, suggested that "some things were not noted during your last inspection," a statement I found hard to believe. To validate my concerns, I sought a second opinion from my dealership for a new inspection. Despite alerting them to the safety issues flagged by Mavis, the dealership's inspection found nothing wrong with my SUV. The service manager and multiple technicians carefully examined my vehicle to ensure no issues were overlooked. Regrettably, this experience has eroded my trust in the Brookhaven, PA Mavis location. Where to begin...my husband bought truck tires he returned 3 times to have them balanced before being told the computer was off....he had to go back a 4th time and is still not sure they are correct. In the same time frame I had 4 car tires put on and shortly there after had my car inspected during which my mechanic told me that 3 of the 4 tires were put on inside out and my balance was off. The tires say inside and outside on the tire rubber....Mavis said this was a new thing (it is not). If it were new I would hope that a company with the name "TIRE" in the title would be aware. read more

Having my tires replaced and my car inspected at Mavis in Brookhaven, PA were both great experiences. The customer service representative was very courteous on the phone and in person, and the repairs were completed more quickly than at other places I have visited. The prices were better than other big-name tire stores, as well. I was very pleased with the big waiting room. I didn't have to walk around outside trying to find something to do. My first visit to the Brookhaven Mavis Tire location was great. I went in to have a tire repaired. My tire had to be ordered but they also let me know that my battery was going bad and my windshield wipers should be replaced. I had both replace and will get my new tire this weekend (10/9). The guys her are great. I've been twice, one for tire mounting (all 4) and one for a repair. Both times the office and shop guys were helpful and nice.
