I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent order I placed with Mawson Lakes Florist.
A full bunch of gypsophila was pre-paid for a baptism, with confirmation that the order would be set aside and ready for collection. Upon arrival, a significantly reduced quantity was provided. After this was queried, it was explained that the flowers allocated to the order had been used for other customers and that there was insufficient stock remaining to fulfil the original purchase.
The handling of the situation was particularly concerning. The communication received was dismissive, and during the interaction the flowers were dropped onto the floor in a manner that appeared unprofessional. An allegation was also made that raised voices were used, which was not the case.
Although a refund was ultimately processed, the situation caused avoidable inconvenience and stress, particularly given the importance of the occasion. Replacement flowers then had to be sourced at short notice from another florist.
This experience did not meet reasonable expectations in terms of order fulfilment, customer service, or professionalism. read more
