For the price this is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in and I stay in A LOT of hotels and resorts. We liked the arm band keys. Although I wish they'd wash and recycle them instead of throwing them out at the end. The room was fantastic, like being in a condo. But the cherry on top was the game room! Although, they need to add more board games and check all the pieces are there. I loved the shuffle board and my son loved fooseball. Food quality at bar was ok. Served fast. They do need better signage about when things happen, like yoga.

The best hotel I have stayed at. The staff, the rooms, the views, the pool, I could go on! I thought it was a little pricey when I booked it but really wanted separate rooms for my family without going the Airbnb route. It was worth every penny. The rooms are spacious and there is a full kitchen with dishes and pans. The location is great and right in the beach. We used the pool and hot tub and both were clean. We didn't eat at their restaurant but the prices looked good the staff there was friendly.

Have you ever had that feeling that you wish the calendar was wrong and you want just one more day…read moreat a hotel?! We felt that way today as we left the Daytona Beach - Delta Hotels (DH) We booked the DH because it was on the beach, did not require valet and had both a restaurant & bar onsite. When it's rainy and cold in Daytona Beach, you don't want to go very far. Our checkin went smoothly and we were recognized as frequent Marriott customers. The Front Desk agent, Renea, was very efficient as she told us about the amenities of the room and hotel. We found her friendly and delightful to talk to. We had booked an ocean front, 2 queen beds room. It came with a fridge, microwave and safe. The view was of the pool deck and ocean - just gorgeous. Daytona Beach allows vehicles on the sand during certain times but this week we did not see any cars, just pedestrians and bicycles. Every DH employee we encountered were friendly and often asked if we were enjoying our stay or needed assistance of any kind. Our room had daily service and the young lady left us additional bottles of water daily. On our last day we enjoyed breakfast at the onsite restaurant. A young lady named Kanisha waited on us and was great. You could order ala carte or have the buffet. We chose the buffet and it was very good. Coffee service is self serve and we like that as we are big coffee drinkers. The onsite cocktail bar was well stocked and busy every night we were there. The front desk staff were great and at checkout, Ulandah was excellent. We discussed a return visit this summer and she was quick to advise us to book soon as they would be booked up soon. While this is the off season for Daytona Beach, we were surprised to see the DH booked solid for the nights we were there and we know why. The amenities were excellent and the Staff were delightful. If you're planning a trip to Daytona Beach in the future, please consider the Delta Hotel by Marriott. Many THANKS to the Staff for a 5 Star stay and experience. Cheers, L&J Henderson NV

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

The water also does not go away at the sinks quickly. Really a cleanliness issue. The bath tub is broken too. Also the hotel can get some upgrade: it's really run down. Swimming pool can get an upgrade too. There is a mini fridge for you to put drinks. The beds are ok but can be better maintained. Carpet can be cleaned better. Will probably not come back to this location. Parking is $55 for valet. Opposite outdoor parking is $35 with in and out privilege and $25 per day for no in/out.

Rain was so solicitous and friendly, as was her coworker Paul. They were very friendly and told us that when our room was ready (we got there early and then 76 rooms checked out this morning) they'd call. So we sat at the bar for a good while of Happy Hour (1430-1800hrs) even AFTER our room was ready. Sheila was a fantastic hostess: VERY friendly and solicitous! She answered all we ever wanted to know and beyond regarding beverage and food selections available. Prices still remain reasonable too! Whine we were sitting there, Sandy the GM came out and spoke to us about all that been done since last we were here in August. The place looks awesome and like a whole new property, although they're still working on details and final touches. I'm totally done with that, and just love what has happened here to get this hotel looking 21st Century modern. When we finally DID go upstairs to our room....HOLY MACKEREL!! This was a total transformation! New floors, new paint, new furniture and pretty much new almost everything else. No more uncomfortable, unappealing 1968 era old fart furniture made by Marriott. Room was sparkling clean too. As you see in the pictures, the lil suite I booked was actually a HUGE one. I can't imagine a better birthday treat for my dear Queen Bee. If we had both Daughter Units and all six grandkids along for this jaunt, we STILL might have sufficient space. Well: probably not, but it's absolutely fine for two! So we went back down for a leisurely dinner, and Sheila was more than ready for us. Both our food choices were very nicely prepared to order and I have no complaints. Again: VERY reasonable prices for bar and food. Breakfast area was a bit shrunk due to continuing construction in the lobby area. Breakfast was still good and a full breakfast, included in the price of our little room. So now that this hotel is nearly done with moving up to the next level, then make a beach getaway HERE. You will NOT regret it!!!!!

When we arrived, I went in and spoke with Nastassia, who informed me they did have availability, so I went ahead and book a room from the 9th through the 13th. The first thing I noticed is the total price she indicated was more than the website with taxes and fees. I was given a Veteran Discount and entered my rewards number, which may or may not assist in free stays in the future, but the overall amount still was above the quote on the website. She gave us a free upgrade to a kitchenette room, which was cool and my wife and I went to the room. While there, we requested plates and silverware and was informed they would be putting it together for us stating they would ensure it was sanitized and ready for use. When it arrived, it was not very clean. Not to say it hadn't been cleaned at one point in time, but instead had sat somewhere unused for a while and was just thrown in a large Tupperware bin and not rinsed off again. Everything seemed fine; however, early veterans day morning, we were awoken by construction on the floor above us, before 9 am. Ann, the desk clerk seemed disinterested in our complaint, so we just went about our day. On that same morning after getting ready to head out antiquing, we both noticed tiny little bugs in the bathroom sink, kitchen and table. I couldn't really say if they were bed bugs, because we have never seen them before, but they looked to be very tiny ants. Later that evening, while watching tv in bed, I realize I was being bitten and notified the front desk who moved us to another room, where we stayed for the remainder of our time there. Nastassia was at the front desk at that time and decided to provide us with two free breakfasts for our last two mornings, which was good; however, even when in their dining area, we noticed the little bugs there on the tables. Before heading out on our final day, I decided despite the breakfasts provided to speak with the manager regarding the issues we've had. At first, he asked if we had left our sliding balcony door open, which we did not, because of the very loud surf sound and then asked if we went to the beach, which I again replied no, because the hotel literally sits right on the beach and twice a day, the surf crashes against the walls and in some places comes up onto the pool area, where they have cones indicating the water hazard. This to me seemed as if he was trying to blame us for their lack of cleanliness and pest control at their "resort". Either way, he removed the resort fees from our bill, which saved us the price of a full day, but again, still did not equate to the amount quoted for staying on their website. That evening, our tv internet went out for over an hour. They did send a maintenance person, who fiddled around with the tv, as if we touched something and caused the issue ourselves. Finally, as if the roar of the surf in the back wasn't enough, the hotel sits right off the main road and you can hear every loud car, motorcycle and emergency vehicle for miles. When we were moved from room 609 to 509, the front door started a high pitch howl early in the morning, because the wind picked up, which we attributed to the water proof seal on the door needing to be replaced. When mentioning it upon exit, the male desk clerk stated he would let someone know, but again seemed disinterested in the complaint. When went took them up on the free breakfasts, bar tender/server in the dining area was very cordial and efficient; however, the toast they served arrived soggy, both times. All and all, I can say this was the absolute worst stay I have ever had and recommend you choose another newer hotel in the area.

Staff was great and very helpful with any and all questions we had... it was why we ended up visiting the lighthouse farther down the coast. The room we had was perfect. It had a full mini kitchen with a two burner stove, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It had dishes, cups, dish soap, towels.... You name it ... they had it. The only thing that was little weird was the bottom of the door to our room... the floor or something was slanted... and the bottom let in a lot of light from the outside... we put a towel down there to cover it. We had such a wonderful time here and they even provided a continental breakfast. The beach is not even 10 to 15 steps away and you can sit outside and watch the sun rise or set. Staff were super friendly; the lobby area and dining room were kept immaculately clean. They have a small exercise room, a great pool, and a hot tub. They have parking all around the exterior of the hotel and an overflow parking in an underground garage. I actually preferred parking in the garage because the elevator takes you right to the lobby or your floor, very convenient! Our room was 606 and it had a spectacular view of the beach, skyline, neighboring hotels, and street. We also had a balcony with two seats which were great. The room was very nice and has been modernized with new kitchen equipment, faucets, a medium sized refrigerator, television, USB charging lamps and receptacles, and free WIFI (no password required). Overall, we were quite happy with our room; however, there were some issues. (1) One of our pillow cases was filthy. It either had makeup/dirt and lipstick/or blood on it. It was Nasty so we just threw it to the side and grabbed one of the backups in the closet for the evening. (2) The toilet does not have its own door on it. The bathroom is large enough for two people to multitask in there when getting ready and the toilet is somewhat closed in with its own wall so why not just add the door, pocket door, or at the very least an accordion door for privacy. (3) For the amount of money guests spend to stay at this hotel why don't they provide coffee or tea in the lobby as part of the guest's amenities. We always look forward to a hot cup of coffee in the lobby of where were staying, once we get settled-in. Their coffee machine is on lockdown until the continental breakfast; alternatively, the coffee in the room is pretty bland. (4) The continental breakfast is nothing special but at least they do offer one, so thank you for that. The breakfast consists of mostly carbohydrates - packaged muffins and Danishes (still partially frozen), packaged grits, oatmeal, and cereal. Packaged bagels, Yoplait Yogurt with the Biomechanically Engineered Ingredients Included. The only thing someone prepared was pancakes. I literally arrived right when they opened at 7:30am and the pancakes were stuck together and somewhat damp like they were cooked an hour ago and kept in this warmer. The only protein you will find is hardboiled eggs and Jiff Peanut Butter. The coffee was ok, but not strong enough for me, too much like coffee water. It was better than nothing at all but I still think they could do better. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay. The only thing that creeped me out was that dirty pillow. I don't know how that was missed during the cleaning process; regardless, if I needed a place to stay again while partying at the Ocean Center I would return.
