We were standing by the side of the store pointing to where the dog went, when an employee came out of the store and told us we can't park here. We told him we were here to look for furniture and he responded saying it's not school parking and we couldn't park in the lot! We explained the dog situation and how we were waiting for family and he told us again we couldn't park there. Literally did not believe we were planning on shopping. We moved our car, then stood in the parking lot to call our family and tell them not to come because of how rude this employee was. He was staring at us through the window the entire time. I will never return as there are many other places to buy furniture where I won't be banished from the parking lot, which is sad because the family members meeting us there bought and couch there and loved it, now they will not be returning either.

Delivery was delayed as Ashley said they received only one mattress and had to wait for the second. Once delivery was made it became immediately evident that one mattress was thicker than the other. I was tempted to refuse delivery, but was told by their delivery person that these mattresses, which were shipped rolled up in a box, take up to 24 hours to fully expand. Well, "full expansion" never occurred and one mattress remains thicker than the other. Ashley did nothing until we filed a dispute with the finance company. Ultimately, they have sent a technician to the house twice, and have confirmed, on both inspections, that the mattresses are different heights. Ashley insists that they meet specification and will not correct. This leaves one side of a king size bed higher than the other. Our recommendation is to not buy from Ashley as their quality is questionable, and their customer support is non-existent. Should you elect to proceed with a purchase, please inspect thoroughly on delivery and refuse immediately if there are any problems/defects; otherwise getting your purchase corrected will be very difficult, if at all.

In a nutshell, I'm always right, he's always wrong...just in case you were wondering. That being said, we're currently selling our rental home to purchase a newer home more suitable to our needs. Furniture shopping was on the docket and I was already dreading it...much like my career choice or a splinter in my favorite finger...you know the one . He finally bribed me to accompany him with the threat he's bring home an animal print sofa, tightened up my running shoes ‍ and Forrest Gump'ed my butt right to the passenger seat. Over my dead body would it look like we sleighed our furniture on a damn safari. He walked while I lagged shortly behind muttering under my breath about the immediate dread of this process, he opened the door to Bradenton Furniture Outlet where I was ready to fight for my life to find what we needed and not have to sell my organs to do so. That's where me met the most wonderful human to deck the halls of a furniture store. He was polite, knowledgeable and wasn't chasing after us like our bill collectors. (J/k about the bill collector part, but you get the gist). We perused for all of about 15 minutes & for the first time ever we both agree on a piece...a beautiful sectional ‍‍, to adorn our home and to make permanent butt prints in. Even though it was quite literally perfect, I'm a little OCD and like to cover all bases just like a home run hitter so I wanted to shop around. We talk to Ray, get a price on a beautiful TV console with fireplace , everything just felt right. Except for the inner child telling me to shop around. We head out and walk into a competitor store and it feels ice cold , like my heart can be according to this guy beside me when he tells me my latest Goodwill find is 'weird.' We walked around, it didn't feel homey, and sales staff just didn't feel personable. Maybe they were, who knows?! I mean apparently I have RBF but when I look at myself I just don't see it! The vibe was just off. It definitely was not the kind of Sales crew that you can joke about needing a rug for your other half's body if they don't agree with you on the couch to leave with. They would've literally called 911 and sent me straight to prison ... but not Ray. He would probably joke with me and offer to help me pick one the perfect rug for the job. That's just his vibe. Ray is a solid dude, great personality, like I wanted to hand him my whole wallet and shop there all day, except we wouldn't get much from that process. Maybe a Biggie bag from Wendy's or a lightbulb out of one of their awesome lamps. His store had numerous things we loved, great prices, no haggling needed and we were well taken care of...just like that McDonald's cheeseburger meal when the hangover hits minus the grief and immediate regret. I recommend Ray & the Bradenton Furniture Outlet hands down. I like Ray more than many family members at this point, that's how great of an experience you'll have shopping there. In 2019, I furnished my entire house at Furniture Warehouse. At that time, we ordered and paid for…read moretwo power recliners as part of the furnishing of the entire house. We received one power and one manual recliner. The manager and I played phone tag, and he ultimately never got back to me, so I paid for something I never received. I was not happy to pay for something I did not get the benefit of, but the one power recliner worked well and those chairs served us well until recently when they were just too old and needed replacing. When we were in the market for new recliners in October of 2024, the chairs we purchased in 2019 were no longer available. So, I purchased two identical power recliners (one of which is pictured (the store model, not our chair)) outright for $2,182,96 including tax and delivery charges. The chairs were delivered on October 19, 2024. One was used by my mother who had been in and out of the hospital three times since August. The other was used by my uncle who is in congestive heart failure and likes to sleep in a recliner to breathe easier. Neither chair's power feature felt right since they arrived; they always felt wobbly, if that makes sense. The power feature never felt sturdy like our 2019 power recliner from Furniture Warehouse. By November 2024 (a month after we purchased it), my mom's recliner broke. Last week, four months after we purchased it, my uncle's recliner broke. Neither one of them is strong enough to make the chair recline manually. I asked Furniture Warehouse to pick up both chairs and refund the full total I paid for them so I can start over and get my recovering mother and sick uncle reclining power chairs that will actually work. I see the negative reviews Furniture Warehouse has online, but I thought it more fair to reach out to them directly to see if they would help me rather than take to the internet. However, Maggie was zero help. I asked her to escalate. She escalated to Carol in Furniture Repair. Carol never told me what she does for Furniture Warehouse; I had to ask. She then proceeded to tell me the recliners would be repaired and she could do nothing else for me. In my opinion, Carol conveyed zero empathy and zero customer-service savvy. Before I became an attorney, I did customer service jobs and I always listened with compassion and tried to solve for customers' concerns. As an attorney, I do the same now with my clients. There was none of that with Carol. I, likely, would have been better off with GenAI helping me as it could have given me the same pat, gate-keeping responses Carol did. I explained to Carol that since both chairs were made poorly and both broke, common sense tells us that they'll break again after repair, and I need working recliners for recovering/sick relatives. I asked Carol to either pick them up and refund my money -OR- replace them with something that will work. She would do neither, so I asked to speak to a General Manager, but she would not allow me to talk to anyone other than those in the Furniture Repair department. Carol ended up hanging up on me. In 2019, I paid for a power recliner I never received and I never made a fuss with Furniture Warehouse after furnishing my entire house with them. Now, I ask them to help me after they sold me horrific quality products and they won't?! I see my business truly does not matter to them one bit, so I will no longer use Furniture Warehouse when I furnish my properties. I couldn't be more disappointed with these guys currently. It's Oct. 18th and I ordered a dresser from them on Sept. 27th. Still don't have my dresser and the two times I've spoken to the folks at Mission there are different dates it will arrive. When I hadn't heard anything for a while after it was supposed to have been delivered I decided to check in. The latest news now is delivery the week of November 7th and that's not even a guaranteed date. Just a guesstimate. Their delivery vendor cannot even provide a definite date. In 2016 when things are delivered and shipped all over the world, I'm being told by these guys that Florida to Seattle is quite the impressive feat and we should be thanking the shipper for his honesty and great work. Mind you I have not once been contacted about these delays once of their own accord. Further adding to my dismay when you place an order with them you receive a confirmation of your order and if you don't contact them expect to never hear anything more again. Not regarding when it shipped or any predicted date of delivery, you know, like you get when you order anything from anyone else who sells anything for the home. Apparently the dresser I ordered for $1000 plus a $200 white glove delivery charge (which I will now associate with preparing to not get your items for another month) has been sitting with their third party shipper since Oct. 5 when the Mission associate says it left their store. Since they have other deliveries I shouldn't expect it to have been sent on its way at that Oct. 5th date. When I called to ask what was going on, because again, you don't get any sort of communication about the status of your delivery (even though I was told I would get an email on a particular day and did not), it took over a day to learn that my dresser would now in fact be arriving the following month. The associate I've been speaking with tried to push me on the proposed November delivery still being inside of 20 days from shipping, which we counted and the week of November 7th is outside of. She then offered a refund and quickly retracted that offer when I asked her to yes please honor that or refund the delivery charge of $200 at least. Now she will go to her boss to see if anything at all can be done, because according to her this is all standard protocol, especially for the monumental delivery distance according to her. I've shipped cars cross country in a week. Mind you I still have no idea when this dresser will come, nothing in writing, just a guess from the vendor, also not in writing. Then we know they will give me a super convenient 12-5 delivery window. So we will see when I get the dresser. In the meantime I live with clothes all over floor. From the time I ordered this dresser I have gotten an entire home's worth of furniture, including couch and a replacement piece to another dresser that was delivered in less than a week (from overstock). If I had at any point been told when I placed my order in September that I would not receive it until November I would NEVER have made the purchase. I feel sorely taken advantage of and for the price I'm paying I'm not getting any sort of service comparable to it.
