Plus she was also conscious of my budget and gave me a few options which could help to reduce my cost. I like her communicative style and sharing of knowledge of the paint. Before the job started, I was able to have a better idea of what to look for in the paint. The paint used could be Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. With the color recommendations from Liz and my own research on paint color, I was able to have a consultation with Liz via email before the in person consultation and looking at the place to be painted. She did a great job and I will definitely use her services again if I need to paint my place again.

They arrived on time and we walked through the project. The estimator advised he would take some photos and have the quote available to discuss before he departed. We discussed the quote and options. It was very professional and I appreciated having the opportunity to discuss the quote. While I did not end up using Hemlock Painting for my exterior, it was a very positive experience.

After…read morethe work was compketed we were dissapointed in the quality of their work as it was somewhat "lazy' and rushed. Here's the breakdown: The Pro's -Super nice people from office staff, owner/estimator to painters!!! -On time start and finish as promied. -Proffesional in appearance and actions (not in quality of work) The Con's -Estimate was about 20% higher than other two quotes however CE could do the work almost immediately. -Rushed & Sloppy work: Did not remove switch or plug plates Crooked lines Asked that any wall damage be repaired. They did this downstairs but not upstairs. Broad brush strokes left on 6 light shades then spun around to the back so we did not notice, should of removed before painting. Missed several tight spots and left old colour of paint (old yellow vs new grey) Summary Very nice people, but bassed on our experience No we would not use them again or recommend to a friend. Full disclosure: We did not complain and CE did not get a chance to fix their work due to the fact that we had guests staying in the house for 1 month immediately after the painting.
