Philip spoke with us at length a couple weeks before the wedding, and we discussed which songs we wanted to play and did not want played at our wedding. A couple days before the wedding Philip emailed and said he would see us on Saturday. Our event planner also confirmed with Phillip the day before the wedding to make sure there were no issues or problems. Much to our surprise, Philip Pasek did not show up at our wedding. Instead he sent a substitute who was good, but obviously not aware of our preferences and played only a small portion of songs we requested. To make matters worse, my husband specifically told Philip during our lengthy phone conversation that neither one of us likes extra attention or wanted to be called out any more than necessary during the reception. Philip obviously neglected to relay this information because during one song the DJ requested my husband and his son to do an "air guitar" dance in front of everyone. The day after the wedding we emailed Philip to let him know we were upset, and he apologized for not being at the wedding. He said he was "an emotional mess" due to personal issues and asked to speak by phone. During the subsequent conversation, Philip informed us that on Friday night he caught his wife cheating on him and he was too upset to work on Saturday. The story sounded implausible, and we hired Fast Breaks Entertainment for Philip's reputation (not his fill in DJ), so Philip reluctantly agreed to give us part of our money back (which we have not received). Following our conversation, we did some research and found out Fast Breaks Executive Entertainment also worked the Orlo the night of our wedding. We then confirmed Phillip was the DJ at the Orlo wedding, which means as suspected Phillip outright LIED to us. Who knows what his motivation was for backing out of our wedding last minute... Maybe they paid him more? Maybe the location was closer to his house? Whatever the case, Phillip Pasek personally was contracted with us and did not show up. BUYER BEWARE!!!

My experience with Gabro was organized, professional and easy from beginning to end. I used Gabro for lighting, tables, chairs and other small decor stuff. I believe we had 20 farm tables and 140 chairs rented from them. I communicated with Angel from Gabro and she was always very responsive. The day of the wedding they were great and the products I rented were in great shape. The wedding was absolutely beautiful in large part due to them. I had such a great experience using them at my wedding, I am using them again for my best friends baby shower.
