The manager agreed the corn was not up to standard, but refused to refund my money. She told me to dispute the charge on my card. Terrible business service. We recently stopped by here on our way back from Splashdown Waterpark. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The food was excellent and the drinks were also very good. We ordered the maya combo, a chicken quesadilla and burrito. The piña colada was also superb! The steak has a smoky flavor that gives a bold touch. The atmosphere was comfy and the views were also nice if you choose to sit outside. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for freshly, well prepared Mexican food. read more

HOLY MOLY! THIS PLACE IS LEGIT! I stayed in Fishkill to hike upstate and as I was driving to my hotel I saw that this place was not only down the block but PACKED at 5 pm so I figured "it must be good". So I decided to not read reviews and just follow the crowd and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The first time I went (because, yes I went both nights I stayed) there was a live band (who was awesome btw) so I wanted to sit near them. I waited about 40 minutes until they were able to fulfill that request for me, if I didn't want to sit near the band it would of been just a 20 minute wait. Personally, anything under an hour is a win to me so I didn't mind. It was worth the wait because I had an amazing waitress Rosie, and the owner is FANTASTIC. Louis is a welcoming man who has, hands down, some of the best Mexican food I've had (on the East Coast). I ordered their Blood Orange Margarita which was DELICIOUS, their plate of nachos (which is totally shareable), steak tacos (TO DIE FOR), and flan- his family recipe. EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! AMAZING! I ate everything with a smile on my face. Louis and I spoke the entire night which just sealed the deal for me coming again on Saturday night. Stopped here yesterday after the tropical storm reeked havoc through Putnam Co. The restaurant was open for indoor dining & their outdoor tent was down in preparation of the storm. My waiter was attentive, the owner was ensuring proper seating/spacing. My sweat plantains were perfect and the taco bowl salad was fresh and delightful. The chop meat was perfect, along with equal parts of cheese, avocado& sour cream on the side. The picketed onions on top were amazing! This place is an absolute great place for family, music, outdoor fun, lots of colorful, fun, Walls of the Yucatán, and Mexico architecture. The avocado was fresh as can be as were the peppers and onions and tomatoes he put into the bowl. The chips were warm and tasted crash, and the salsa was definitely house made and delicious. For my main course I ordered the chimichangas tejana. Good portion for lunch price. My wife ordered soft chicken tacos. The other two people we were with ordered shrimp tacos. Also ordered steak fajitas and their strip steak. Both were cooked well along with yellow rice and beans. All was fair to good. The server was so pleasant. I ordered their chicken soup which was the STAR of it all. The restaurant was authentic in Mexican restaurants go .. nothing special TYPICO. This place was so much fun. I went on a vacation to Mexico City in March and walking into this place immediately brought me back. The decor, the bright colors, the Mariachis. I tried the carne asada and the table side guacamole. They were both excellent. Table side guac is always such a treat to watch them make in front of you, even though it does nothing to make it taste better. The carne asada had a very interesting marinade and was delicious. Maybe tamarind and orange juice? Cooked to a perfectly medium rare. So many Mexican places are thin slices of overcooked steak. Not here. The rice and beans were also very good. So after moving from TX we tried a few Mexican restaurants and there were not comparable with the ones in El Paso, so we stopped eating mexican food. Heard great things about this place and decided to check it out. When first pulling up and seeing the sign I was very confused if this was an Italian place or a Mexican place. The decor and overall ambiance of this place is cool. They had a live mariachi band walking around which was really nice, but that's about where the good stopped. The salsa had nice flavor with a tiny bit of tang, guacamole was a avocado with a few pieces of onion and maybe 1/3 of a piece of tomato in it. I should have known at this point that the flavor would be lacking. My girlfriend had the coconut shrimp special and said it was good. From the look of it, it looked like it had a nice texture and flavor thru spice. I got the chicken fajitas. Lots and lots of onions but no peppers. The chicken had grilled flavoring from the grill. It that was all. The tortillas were hard on the outer edge but soft in the middle. I like this restaurant a lot, but lately, I ordered a take out and they left one dinner and my guacamole out of the container. I called them and they gave me a credit. OK - good. When I went back (about 2 weeks later) I used my credit and ordered additional dinners. Well, they left out the guacamole AGAIN and the guy even told my daughter that he put it in the bag! Stopped in to grab lunch, this place was buzzing with other patrons. I was sat down very quickly my drinks were taken and chips were brought to the table. The chips and salsa were fresh and so much flavor I loved it. I ordered the Taco sampler by recommendation of the waiter, brought 3 puff tacos 1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 guacamole, side of veggie rice and retried black beans. Literally took me longer to type this out than it did for my food to arrive it was almost instant. At first this was off putting as it makes me weary the food is pre made just sitting there, but it was hot and very fresh.
