Had Mayday come out for a quote. They said they would have a quote by end of week. End of week comes and no quote so we figure we wait for over the weekend to reach out We call on Monday and they say they will have end of day - nothing We call Tuesday and they say they will have a end of day again - nothing We call Wednesday and rep says they will have someone call us but we decide to just text the person who came out. They said they emailed us but of course we never received so we asked what email they sent it to and silence . Ghosted us. So we wait until evening time and ask if they need the email address again and they say yeah and will email when they get home. Guess what? No email, no text , no call Thursday - Nothing . Yesterday my AC unit broke down during an excessive heat wave warning! I contacted a bunch of companies in a panic, but Fuse came to my rescue once again! After reading reviews on other companies sites, I was afraid of getting ripped off or told to replace my unit unnecessarily. Based on my previous experience with Fuse and their honest assessment of my washing machine, I called them first thing the next morning to schedule a repair. I had them out to service my refrigerator recently, the repair tech was on time and diagnosed the issue quickly and correctly. The pricing for the repair was high though. I left a 3 star review over this initially. The company called me up and explained that though the part is cheap the cost comes from the additional liability from working on equipment that can leak which I can understand. The refrigerator is on the 2nd story and a leak could be a major issue. They offered a small discount for the inconvenience but could not go too low due to the liability. They let me know how I could fix it myself and offered phone assistance if I got stuck. This was a good solution to me and I'm happy to adjust my review. Technician came out to look at our A/C last Sunday- said that it needed a new control board. He said that he would e-mail me an invoice with the estimate. Never received the invoice. Never got a call today Tuesday to let me know on the status of the part. Lisa the operator said she would find out with technician and never got back to me. Finally had to call the office myself to find out. She called the technician and then finally called me back to say they have to order the part and it will be several days before they can get it to fix it. He diagnosed the drain motor the first time, ordered the part, came back two days later to replace the motor, and made sure the machine was running properly. By the way, this time it was a wine glass that broke in the machine, and the glass got stuck in the motor causing the drain failure. A reminder to everyone to be careful with glassware in the dishwasher, after all, a broken glass is expensive. read more
