Do Not Use This Towing Service. Needed to get my car towed due to mechanical issues and had to pull over on the shoulder of I-20 West during morning rush hour traffic. Explained multiple times that my car sits a little low. When the tow truck arrived, the driver didn't even make an attempt to safely and carefully load my car onto the bed. Not even placing wood or material down to allow for the front bumper to clear. Experienced tow truck drivers/companies understand ride height challenges and typically have the tools for safe loading. The pictures speak for themselves. My car was in no accident. Now I have to get my entire front bumper replaced. Mayeday Towing refused to compensate for the damage. The owner of Mayeday Towing is very unprofessional, rude, and has the worst customer service. He made multiple false claims through text messages. The owners at the automotive wrap shop where my car was dropped off were speechless due to seeing the condition my front bumper was in compared to seeing it days prior. I will be filing a complaint with the Georgia Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. Then taking further legal actions. I Repeat, Do Not Use This Towing Service. read more

My car broke down at 11. They sent a invoice and I paid it at 12. No driver ever showed up. They were extremely rude and disrespectful. No communication whatsoever. I really don't understand how they are still operating as a business. Profanity was used and attitude when none was given out. We just kept calling for a update since we had been sitting on the side for 4 hours "waiting for a update". The owner was suppose to reach out but that never happened. Worst people I ever dealt with and I never even got to meet them. These people are so nasty over the phone. I'll be amazed to see them around in a couple Years. First business to curse my wife out. You can tell by the messages no one was being rude. There's no need to lie. Take responsibility for your short comings. Be a better business owner. On 10/21/22, my car would not start, because of a battery issue. After my experience, I realize that I should have called AAA for assistant. I regret calling MayedAy Towing, because I ended up paying $78.00 for a jump start, so I could drive to work. Unfortunately, the individual who came out did not have any device to check my battery level, and only scraped off the battery acid under the hood. Although, I was glad he was able to jump start my vehicle which allowed me to drive to work and back home, I failed to consider if I would have the same experience the next day. I have learned the importance of not going with any business that does not specialize in battery testing and replacements. The service I received from MayedAy Towing was not worth $78.00, but it was definitely highway robbery. I encourage you to consider AAA, which allows you to receive the best service for towing, battery checks and/or new batteries with a warranty at a reasonable cost. I have no intention of ever recommending this business to anyone, because of my negative and costly experience. It was costly lesson. read more

My experience with this towing company is by far the worse towing experience I've ever had. Not only is the owner unethical but he is unprofessional and rude. I went with this towing company based on reviews and felt the need to contribute back to the digital community With a review. There are numerous tow companies in Atlanta, that are minority owned, so I urge you to choose another tow company. I was asked the mileage from home to the drop off location. In looking at Apple Maps, there were 3 routes listed. I chose the option that was 8 miles and took 30mins. I shared my address and the drop off address and received a price. when it was time to pay, I was told the driver took a different route that was 12 miles and took 25mins. Consumers hate a bait and switch and this is exactly what happened. We had a company truck towed here for repairs. Upon initial contact, everything was as expected. They showed up in a timely manner and transported the vehicle to their shop. They ran diagnostics and claimed clearing the code fixed the issue (I'll follow up on this as I don't believe clearing a code corrected this problem). They sent an invoice, which I paid promptly, then it went downhill when we needed to pick up the truck. We're an engineering company that relies on their vehicles so our field employees can work, i.e. collect revenue. Our technician showed up the next day to pick up the truck and there was no one at the shop. Another employee did show up an hour later only to say he had no idea where the "boss" was and he did not have access to the shop. This was at 9am. I continuously texted the "boss" only to receive no communication in return. 7 hours later I followed up with another text, the main mode of communication between us up until then was through text. The "boss" finally responded with a phone call. His first words out of his mouth was, "why didn't you contact me?" I responded that I've been texting him all day...which he acknowledged I did. He then said I text him too early in the morning for a response and that he doesn't get to the shop until 9am. Our technician was there until 9:45am waiting and as I mentioned above, his own employee arrived at 9am knowing nothing. It is clear that this company is a joke who only cares about being paid. Once that happens, good luck getting anything out of the "boss". Their claim to be #1 in New York is laughable!! read more

I used this towing to come out and replace a battery in my car first of all the guy Ken arrived on time I told him I said you do know that you have to take the tire and panel off to get to the batter. he replied and said Mayeday didn't tell me that I sai I hope you know what you are doing after he finished we cashed app MayeDay the$321.00 how about the battery light came back on again so we were thinking that the light would just automatically go off..not it stayed on and I called Ken and told him he said oh you are going to have to take it to a dealership or a mechanic..he'll I thought that what he was a mechanic I Called MayeDay I also texted him and told him to send me a invoice (receipt) I still haven't gotten.. he did my car Monday..how about my car shut down on me from work and I called MayeDay and I told him what had happened to my car and what it was doing he said oh that's your Alternator he said I can send you a tow for $125 I kept calling him he never returned my call so I called another tow company he was there within 10mins and he gave me a lift home only charged me $95 for 3miles ..Mayday is a ripoff and the battery what that so called mechanic put in our car probably was used because I still haven't seen a receipt yet from Mayeday I will let a professional mechanic put my alternator on..I hope you enjoy that $321 for doing nothin!!!!! read more

I had to call a tow truck when my car stopped working while I was running errands. I called several places and amazed at was the only one who asked about the space I was in and a little about what was wrong so they would be prepared. John was great! Showed up and was actually able to point out the broken part in my engine and after explaining the problem, told me I could probably replace it myself. It didn't take long for him to have my car loaded and ready to go. Very easy to pay for services. However, when he dropped the car off at the shop, he never told anyone he was dropping it and just left my keys on the drivers front seat. If I had not of called the shop to make sure my car was there, they would have never known it was there. He also never put any type of lights on my car to let others know that it was being towed. My unregistered vehicle needed an emissions test, and the temporary tag was expired, so I opted to have it towed to and from the shop about one mile away. Each trip cost $67.50, $135 in total, which was a slight discount from his usual base fee since it was a round trip. The only quote I found that beat that was $62.50, through my American Express membership; however, they would not tow an unregistered vehicle. Jonathan was very prompt; he showed up 30 minutes after my initial call (only because of heavy traffic) and stayed in the area to take my car back immediately after the test was completed.
