I love the Mews during the summer, with its quaint cobbled street and the constant buzz from the people enjoying their food and drinks on the small tables that line it. Above all this is Mayfair Pizza & Co. Up a small staircase to the first floor is an unexpected surprise - a huge high ceilinged room which is light, spacious and nicely furnished. The huge windows and glass ceiling allow plenty of light in and the pleasant buzz from people below makes for a lovely atmosphere even when mostly empty (we were eating early due to the theatre at 7pm). The staff were very friendly and sat us down with our menus straight away. Unfortunately we weren't offered water (it was such a hot day and a little stuffy in the restaurant) and when it was brought over on request it was luke warm so we had to ask for ice (twice). As the name suggests this place is allll about pizza and situated in the corner is a massive pizza oven. I didn't fancy pizza so went for their superfoods salad with halloumi but my friend went for the smoky chicken and rocket pizza. We ordered a starter to share; the truffle and mushroom arancini which at £5 for 3 is good value. They have a delicious consistency and the creamy mushroomy truffly flavour is goooood. My main was good with really tasty deep fried halloumi however some of the leaves were a bit wet and there wasn't enough pomegranate, avocado, cauli and beetroot. The pizza was a real let down with a very soggy middle and small bits of chicken that didn't taste smoky at all but tasted like value sandwich chicken. It was piled high with rocket but no other flavour. As a pizza place they should have this down to a tea so this was a real shame. Instead of wine we went for cocktails; Aperol spritz at £6 was great value and the lemon gin fizz was refreshing but a bit sweet. The wine is quite pricey and only one or two are served by the glass. They also serve a carafe which is good if you don't fancy a whole bottle. When I say pricey I meant reasonably pricey however they also have some absolutely ridiculous vintages that cost up to a grand! We were running late so asked them to rush our dessert and bring the bill which they efficiently did. We ordered a strawberry cheesecake to share with basil ice cream side. The ice cream was sooo refreshing but the cheesecake tasted shop bought with a funny texture and a horrid jelly top. There are some great things about this place - service, atmosphere - but the food didn't live up to my expectations especially considering the cost! They also hold pizza classes but I definitely wouldn't be back for this! read more

Walking down Bond Street following Google Maps and walking past all of the luxury stores I started to doubt that I was going the right way. But there's only shops around here!? I then arrived at a tiny side street leading to Lancashire Court...I had no idea this little area existed and I used to work in the area and was often out and about near Bond Street after work, so this was a nice little surprise. To be honest, I didn't think I was going to like this place and yes I judged a book by it's cover. I thought it might be terribly pretentious and stuffy but even though some of the other diners fitted that description this place certainly was a lot more down to earth than I thought it was going to be. I arrived 15 minutes before my partner and the service was a little slow then, I wasn't asked if I wanted a drink until he just arrived. From then on though the service was really good. The food was extremely tasty and portions are generous in size. I had the Four Cheese pizza....Mmmmm it was perfect. We also ordered a side of fries to share but they never arrived, which secretly we were quite grateful for as we were totally stuffed by the end of the meal! When we asked for the bill at the end I just mentioned that we didn't receive the fries and it wasn't a problem but can they just make sure it wasn't on the bill please. The waitress returned with the bill and a genuine apology plus 2 free vouchers to have complimentary cocktails at the bar below the restaurant. We ordered Espresso Martinis there and considering the cocktails were £14 each (it's Mayfair baby!) it was a generous apology for a small mistake. Now that's what you call good service! I really wanted to like this place! But our visit was average at best. I made reservations and we were seated promptly. The place wasn't too crowded, but that evening they had a pizza making class so the oven was busy. They have a good selection of pizzas, pastas and salads. I opted for a black truffle mushroom which was delicious but it was a bit cold! I also ordered a side rocket and parmesan salad which was good. I was expecting the salad to come out first but it came with the pasta. Husband ordered the zapparoli pizza which he enjoyed. The location is great and is situated with other restaurants down a narrow street. Ok place, but I'm sure they're other great spots around the area. read more

I had a pizza here last night and it was really lovely - i had to write a review. The location feels quite 'hidden' and the atmosphere is very romantic - candles and low lighting. The pizzas are lovely, light crispy base, not soggy at all. We were pigs and also te the parmesan truffle chips - they were soooooo good! It's isn't a cheap pizza but the quality is really high. It was a lovely experience I initially hadn't seen this place as it is tucked away but the ambience is very nice and cosy yet being quite refreshing at the same time. The food is excellent value considering the area as well the prices are super good. Their salad with halloumi is delicious and the pizza was good too. The desserts were OK, nothing really special but still nice. Staff are very friendly. However the juice did not taste freshly squeezed despite asking if it was. Overall I would definitely come here again and especially with the lovely London weather it is a definite cute spot for friends to catch up. read more

I'm only giving this place 3 stars, because although it has a posh name and surroundings and cool Italian chefs a-making-a-da-pizza the end result isn't really any better than what you might find in Pizza Express or Ask, or Strada. That's not necessarily a bad thing but when you assume the name of the most expensive location on the Monopoly board I expect to be wowed. That said, they do a cool pizza making class where you get to make your own pizza and then eat it in the restaurant, which is worth a go as you can take the skills you learn and use them to make a similar pizza at home.. so it goes up a star to 4 stars in the end :) read more

Giving two stars because while the food is good and the chef sings opera, they DO NOT accept the £15 beer and pizza deal. So frustrating and didn't even apologize for fact that they said they never had this deal. Poor form. Owner: inform your staff you have a deal on a major social media platform so in the future you'll avoid this. read more

Cautiously came to try the sweet pizzas and was very pleasantly surprised. The place is tucked away in upmarket soho and gets busy in the evening, but the staff are helpful and tables can be booked in advance. The sweet pizzas taste and look great - have added pics. You just have to get over the confusing way they look so savoury. read more

Was in London for a few days and ended up with Mrs and BFF shopping in Mayfair tonite and was looking for a place not too trendy to eat and came upon this place. Had vegan anti-pasta, bruschetta, two pizzas and linguini carbonara. The place smelled wonderful and the food was excellent. Not crowded and I think the prices were very good for the neighborhood, way less than expected. I rate places in their price range and the audience and have to say I would highly recommend this to anyone. read more

POSITIVES The place gives a good first impression, the interior design overal is one that works well for any demographics. Nothing special, but feels clean and light. The inner part of pizza was quite solid taste, seemed close enough to what you get in Italy. They will not walk away with your credit card with CVV on the back to handle the payment, the waitress brings a machine to your desk. NEGATIVES Our visit was doomed from the start. As a customer standing at the entrance obviously being uncertain if the stablishment has a seating procedure/policy, being greeted quite loudly from 2.5 meters away by a remark "I can't hear you" as a reply on a simple "Hello we'd like to have a pizza" "by a waitress doesn't really make you feel welcomed. There are so many ways to aproach a client more professionaly, for ex. walk over and say "Welcome, how can I help you?" My conversation with her then seemed to be getting stuck again and again, which I attribute to me being annoyed by further issues & her lack of skills to recover from a wrong start. We came specifically for Hawaian (kid's wish for 2 weeks), and I checked before going to the place on company's website that it IS on offer, yet when we sat down, there was a menu with no Hawaian. Explain that to 4y old girl. After fixing stuff all week at work, you simply want things to work on weekend, not fix more stuff. I knew it's not rocket science to make a custom pizza (a simple one), but my hopes were a bit lower with the "can't hear me" waitress. As I expected, I had to justify the off-menu request with some arguments - annoying again. Can't you just say "No worries, we can do one for you"? There is no coat hanger/rail to put your clothes on, London is still a cold town in early March, you effectively have to sit/lay back on your coats and sweaters, not very comfortable which is a shame because the sofas feel inviting. The desk we got was not levelled. This is very annoying as anytime the opposite sitting person puts their elbows on the desk, your pizza goes up 1-2 cm. When they raise their hands, pizza down. Up, down, up down. 30 times. I ended up fixing the desk to the floor with my legs for 30 mins with all my body weight. The juice I ordered for the kid had ice cubes in it by default. Please ask the customer if they want ice next time, I had to get it out with my fork. The establishment does not serve pizza cutlery. They served us with standard cutlery knife, good luck trying to comfortably slice a pizza for kid with that. There was at least 5-6 kids inside, but the establishment doesn't have smaller cutlery more suitable for kids. I attached the image with our pizza. It seems it spent more time in the oven than it should. I image-googled "traditional italian pizza" and when I looked at the results, our seems to be the clear winner when it comes to black areas. Imagine - a wordwide image search cannot give you a blacker pizza than one on your desk. Judge for yourself. Lastly why is the hawaian the second most expensive one (14 pounds)? It's so simple to make and there's only 3 ingriedients. I paid 20£ something for a pizza and 1.5 dcl orrange juice. Did not feel like a good deal overal give the compound effect of all the issues above. read more

Brilliantly executed neapolitan style pizza. Dough was excellent with a nice chewy crust. I had the Vesuvius which was quite spicy in a very good way. My wife had the Margherita which had a lovely sweet sauce with just the right balance. read more

This is a great hidden gem that serves amazing pizza in fact properly the best pizza I have ever had in London. The dough of the pizza was thin and did not taste doughy at all unlike some places. You can also pay to have a class of making your own pizza (has to be prebooked i think). I was given a apron and a chef hat to wear. Once I had my starter of either garlic bread or tomato bread I then could go on and make my pizza with the chefs. He showed me how to stretch the dough and then I put on my tomato sauce along with any topping I liked. The chef then showed me how to place the pizza in the oven with the big paddle and then how to take out. My pizza was heavenly I put on it goats cheese, mozeralla, mushrooms and basil. Such a unique and different way to experience pizza and with toppings I like. The restaurant is light and airy with its sunlight window up above and the tables all spaced out nicely so your not sitting on other peoples lap. Staff also very welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone that just loves pizza. read more

What a surprise! Affordable and delicious food without feeling like you've been caught by another over priced or overrun tourist restaurant, which has been my experience of dining in Mayfair up until now. Not easy to find which is probably it's saving grace. Lancashire Court is tucked away in a tangle of old alley ways running between Old Bond Street and Davies Street and have been spruced up to create a lovely fairy light scattered outdoor dining area for the local restaurants. Great people watching. I will definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants and bars. The food at MPC was very tasty. I had risotto and my guests all had pizza - all of which were good. read more

Although a very nice location, and lovely atmosphere, the food was good, but nothing really out of the ordinary, except maybe the Parmesan truffle chips....which i am a HUGE fan of! If you visit though you should try the pizza making class where you can make and eat your own pizza, good tips to take home. read more

A delightful surprised! I would highly recommend this place and it honestly is exactly what you expect. While the others liked, but did not LOVE, their pizza choices, I got the calzone and that was delish! As was the Nutella calzone dessert, very yummy! The first impression was very good - nice interior and setting. Pizza however was terrible. And that's kind of a problem for a pizza place. Their version of Margherita was basically a cheese pizza with one leaf on basil on top. Diavola which was supposed to have sausage had none of it.
