Truly the best experience at Mayhouse! The shop inside is soooo cute and the staff was so helpful. My original dress was way too big for me and too long, I got a hem and the dress taken in and it fit like a glove! The shop even provided heels to I could see what the dress would look like at that length. I was worried because my dress had corset boning that it would cause some issues, but it was truly seamless and fit me so perfectly. I'm so happy with my experience here, and that I was able to get my dress fixed in time for my bridal showerI would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for all my alteration needs. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This business is absolutely ridiculous. They overcharge for poor-quality work and have no sense of professionalism. I brought in a formal gown to be taken in on the sides and shortened by an inch at the bottom. They had my dress for over a week, and when I got it back, it was done incorrectly. The hem was uneven, and the slip underneath was cut unevenly too--one side is clearly shorter, creating a visible slope. Because they took too much off the slip, you can now see through the bottom of the dress. Their argument is "Oh we hemmed it based on when you had the dress on". Yea well I tried it on and the slope is clearly visible and still uneven. I paid $300 for this awful alteration, and they only offered to refund me $54. On top of that, the staff was rude and argumentative. Completely unprofessional. I do NOT recommend this place. The work is sloppy, the prices are outrageous, and the customer service is a joke. Shop here at your own risk--two thumbs down. read more
