This particular Levi store would probably fit in the changing room section of the company's flagship San Francisco store but they still manage to squash a lot of different style into the small, two storey space. As well as their legendary 501s and Red Tab jeans, you can now get Straight, Skinny, Flared, Bootleg, Engineered, Vintage inside out and Levi's Blue. In keeping with the iconic Levi's imagery, they also sell checked and plain sawtooth and straight flannel shirts, raglan tees and capped tees with images. For me though, it's all about finding the most comfy and flattering pair of booty shaking jeans.

Your not going to be too surprised by this, but here is a shop which sells a good selection of jeans, and when I went in, had a whole rack on discount (at around £30-35). The jeans of course are like Ronsil and they do what they say on the tin, and some, and you can't really go wrong with a pair of 501s or 751s, so shelling out £60+ is expensive but if you can afford it, well worth it. The quality of Levi's shirts is i think always really good, and their T's never fail to dissapoint, however again, it's not cheap so come with a bit of money if your thinking of going on a spree. One problem with this store is that the range is quite small and limiting so finding something other than jeans that you want may be better done down in the Laines. The staff were a little unhelpful, and whispering and laughing to themselves which as a customer is never a good sign, but oh well! Another day and I don't doubt that they are the most amazing shop assistants in the world. 1 question? Where are the courds?

Another store within the Arndale Centre so as usual, there is parking in the car park but it is charged.

These are mostly faux diamond rings and the gaudier necklaces. The necklaces of pearl, gold and real diamond are quite a bit more expensive, but still nice to look at. Despite its small size, Penelope's Portmanteau is absolutely crammed with stunning broaches, costume jewellery, handbags and designer vintage gowns all laid out beautifully. With a wide range of prices, you can treat yourself to a bargain of around a fiver or splurge hundreds of pounds on one-of-a-kind designer pieces: last year, they sold off a stunning collection of Vintage Elizabeth Emanuel Couture Gowns. Fantastic for browsing and amazing for accessorising, a visit to this place comes very highly recommended for anyone who's even remotely interested in the world of fashion.

For a smallish shop, they stock a decent range of clothes with a good choice of both smart and casual wear. My fella particularly likes thier jeans - he finds the cut, fit and price perfect! They also do a nice line in reasonably priced t-shirts. As well as clothing they stock a limited range of foot wear and men's accessories. The prices are very reasonable on the whole and their sales are well worth having a nose at , as the clothes are usually greatly reduced, adding to their attraction!

Refreshingly, they stock sizes 8 to 18 and their niche seems to be classic dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts, blouses, jumpers and dresses made from beautiful and ethical materials. Turning it into a one-stop destination for shoppers in a hurry, they also sell shoes, bags and accessories. Designers include Beyond Skin, Sam Ubhi, Ally Capellino, Best Behavior, Hartford, Anna Nygards and Anouk. If you see something you like and it doesn't quite fit, they also provide alterations and styling advice. If they could make me a size smaller, I'd buy my whole wardrobe from there!
