Maybe it's our mistake that we came on a Sunday. But we called when coming and were told the wait is about 1h long. Which didn't sound too bad. I'm not going to talk about the pricing, we paid $113 for 2 kids and 2 races, you have to buy $6 annual membership. We arrived at 3pm, by 3:15pm purchased our races. They had 1!!!! Birthday party running at the same time. We were told that parties have priority and understand that but we did not expect that they would run the party ONLY for the next 2 hours. It's now 5:56pm, the kids did one race and next one would be in over an hour!!!! I wasn't aware that the parties have a PRIVATE use of the racetrack with no break in between. if we were told we'd spend 3 hours waiting for one race we would have made a better choice than wasting Sunday waiting. Will not be back! Will not recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else, the wait is not worth it.

Seems excessive for 2 races. Mandatory annual license fee? Seriously?? A bit desperate in my opinion.

This place has changed. It used to feel friendly and welcoming, but now the employees come across as robotic and inflexible, as if even a small, reasonable request causes confusion. We asked to be upgraded to the 3rd package they have, offering to pay the difference. They refused it outright, telling me I need to purchase a whole new set. Is that all that matters to you, the money grab? $26 a race seems a bit excessive to me. As a business, you can't always rely on rigid policies alone. Customer satisfaction should still matter, and some accommodation within reason goes a long way. This will be the last time I spend my money here. Management should take note: you're losing customers one unsatisfactory experience at a time.

Kids wearing helmets before their race

Go to the Valencia location -- you'll get way more bang for your buck. It's literally about a 15-minute extra drive up the 5 from the Sylmar location, and it's 100% worth it. I've been to MB2 Valencia multiple times and always had a great experience. Music playing, good energy, tons of arcades, food, drinks (beer)-- it actually feels like a fun outing. I brought my family to Sylmar expecting something similar and was very disappointed. We tried overlooking a lot, but what really got me was the pricing. At Valencia, everything runs on a point system -- a go-kart race is around 50 points (~$12 per person). At Sylmar, one single race was $26.99 per person, plus a mandatory one time annual membership fee (~$6.99). I ended up spending about $70 for my two kids to race one time. The only reason I paid was because I promised them go-karts after a successful school year. I spent way more money for far less to do than I ever have at the Valencia location. At the end of the day, I guess it served as an experience to know never to go there again. I'd honestly say ignore the good Yelp reviews and make the short drive to Valencia instead -- it's a completely different experience.

Highly recommend!!! We have our own room. Boys had a wonderful time. Everything what you need they give it to you.

Five years later, my son is having a blast again. Great place, we are here on a Sunday, not too many people. Got to race right away.

Had a great experience with their birthday package. Everything was easy and clear. Staff was friendly and professional. The complex is huge and clean. Every kid and parent had a blast. Natalie was a great host!

Another birthday party we were invited to MB2 . Very spacious, clean , professional track. It's indirect and carts are electric. Low noise and no smell. Place provides the helmets and carts. Interior is amazing and private room was VIP LEVEL. Highly recommended small arcade for kids after getting tired of driving ( IF that is even possible) haha. We brought our own food . It can get busy during the week but weekends early is better . Outside parking was great

I wasn't a fan of how the helmet smelled though and of how the smoke smelled from the GoKarts. It was my first time trying it out so I don't know if that's normally how it is. I also didn't get to try the batting cages because they were closed 15 minutes before midnight, even though they advertised this spot closing at midnight. The Laser Tag activity was a pretty big space and I didn't find it stuffy at all, which was good. The VR next to the Laser Tag though was stuffy but at least there was an overhead fan. I personally don't trust how well they clean and disinfect the head masks, that's why I didn't try it. The arcade area was pretty limited in terms of games but they're always a good activity to do as an alternative from the other activities that have lines. Didn't get to try the mini-golf or the "bowling" area due to time. I like the outdoor patio and the ambiance of the string lights when you want to get some fresh air. Lots of families seated wherever they wanted and kids had a lot of stuff to play around with. Looking to see how this spot will compete with Round1 opening up soon in the mall. The water cup station is super handy, but they didn't want to refill the waters near the end of the night and the cups also, so we had to ask at the bar. I like that there's a good amount of staffing here who were all working hard. There's a few bathrooms spread out in the place. Parking is big in the back, just gets pretty dark.

The axe throwing itself is $35 per person but it is worth it if you are looking for a fun activity or destressor (lol). Side note: They don't have food vendors but there's lots of wonderful food options around the area walking distance. In regards to the drinks, every beer/ alcoholic drink they carry is intentional and they rotate based off season. Every time I've came I've had a wonderful and welcoming experience with the help of Ryan, Marshall, and Mariah. Definitely recommend!

It was a slow night for them. As we arrived at the bar to check in and I have to say that there was not much joy in are presence. My husband presented the Groupon and she immediately said, "Yeah, were not taking those anymore" and mentioned the manager or owners name. My husband immediately showed her that the Groupon had not expired yet. She fiddled looking in the computer and eventually allowed us to sign the waiver and Ray led us to our lane. Listen, if the place was super busy and they were swamped, I could see why they would be bothered by a Groupon hassle. But that was NOT the case and the fact of the matter is, they did not apologize for doubting the validity of the Groupon. It was more like we were an annoyance that we came in at all. Didn't ask us if we wanted something to drink. Ray was excellent at his presentation and instruction, but we were the only people throwing at the time and I was having issues with even hitting the board with the metal part of the axe. Just a helpful hint for the throwers, you will have to get someone back over there by asking if you need anymore help. They are not going to volunteer to help you again. All and all it is a fun environment, but I doubt we will be going back anytime soon. You want to spend money in an establishment that wants you there. Not one that acts like you just pissed in their Cheerios by showing up. Fun place to try, but frustrating if you can't throw the axe correctly to make it stick to the wall.

HOWEVER, we know that the owner was contacted by at least an hour before we showed up for our reservation. That was ample time to call or email us to let us know that we should reschedule. You knew no one was there to run the business. You knew that people with reservations would be showing up. You did nothing to try to mitigate the problem. We had to find childcare. We had to go to the store and spend extra money to buy items to smash. You could have saved us a lot of trouble with a phone call. They had just let the prior group start 8 minutes ago from when we arrived and they did not initially apologize or try in any way to make it up to us. They mentioned that they sold some breakable items for $3-$4 each but that we should spend the 20 minutes we needed to wait to go and purchase some breakable items from around the area while we waited. We asked if we could receive a discount for the rage room or if we could receive any of the $3/$4 breakable items for free, but they stated that the best they could do was to give a discount on the breakable items. We paid around $150 total for 5 of us so to only be offered a discount on items that are already only $3/$4 was laughable. They said they could not discount or refund a portion of the rage room cost at all, so there was no acceptable attempt made to make the situation right for us. As we dressed in protective gear for the rage room, we found that at least half of the protective gear we tried (helmets, gloves, jumpsuits) was defective, had holes in them, and wouldn't have been safe to wear. They also did not have enough protective gear for all five members of our group. When we asked for more protective gear, they stated they only had enough to supply 2-3 people at most with full protective gear and we were NOT notified of this after booking the rage room online. We will not be returning to this location due to the mistake they made with no reasonable attempt to make this right with us, the negligent and defective protective gear, and the lack of sufficient protective gear for our group.
