Rob and his team mow and trim the lawns, trim the shrubs, and trim all (over 100) trees. They also replace any shrubs and trees that bite the dust. Rob and his team do a fantastic job, year in and year out. Although Rob is certainly a contractor for our condo community, his team is more like family. A few years ago, his marriage was held in our lakefront community gazebo. The entire community attended in their golf carts! Only in Florida! Sooooooo, after eighteen years with the same landscaper, my Condo Association decided to make a…read morechange. The old folks were doing a great job but a bid that was several tens of thousands of dollars cheaper annually made the difference. Hurricane Ian threw a monkey wrench in the works. All the big stuff had been cleaned up but there was still thousands of little twigs and leaves that needed to be mulched. Thus, the mowers were set up for a mulch mow. I thought it came out pretty darn nice! See my picture. It may take a couple of more mulch mows before we get back to normal. Our landscaper is also responsible for shrub trimming and tree trimming. It will be weeks before we see the results of those efforts. I'm going with three stars for now simply because I haven't seen the results of upcoming work. I'll revisit over the next year or so.

However, recently the company missed scheduled appointments, did not followup to reschedule, misrepresented their pricing, and made commitments they did not honor. I discovered the pricing offered us was 2x the real cost; why? because they employ subcontractors and simply markup their services. We learned not to trust the folks at Edgewood because what they lack character, credibility and integrity. Get it in writing and find an alternative. You will save yourself much hardship...

The came out and went over the trees we wanted to take down or trim and gave us an estimate. That evening we received an email and in it were the written out estimate alone with an updated copy of their insurance. We had 3 other estimates and while they were somewhat close, we chose them because of their outstanding customer presence and followup. Today they were in our yard on time and ready to go. We decided on getting our old large oaks trimmed (to save us money) along with removing a couple of other trees. When they left, all the debris was picked up and the yard area looked amazing. We highly recommend this company because of their professionalism, outstanding customer service, and competitive pricing.
