As he left, he promised a quote within 24 hours. We're still waiting for the quote after 10 days - and after follow-up phone calls and emails. Not a word! As a former VP of Sales and Marketing, this is completely unprofessional. We gave the business to another company who gave us a verbal quote on the spot and then followed up the next day with a written one. Brock Doors and Windows are not worth wasting you time over.

This company has a lot to answer for. They priced out a storm door for my home along with a patio…read moredoor for the back of my home. At their insistence, they wanted two separate invoices. As it turns out, the reason was because they had no intention of completing the storm door. They only used that as a ruse to gain the patio door business since I was clear I'd only hire a company that would do both. Unfortunately they let the fact that they would not install a storm door slip a few months later, but it was already too late. As for the patio door, the installation was a mess. They tore off trim that didn't need to be removed and GLUED TRIM TO MY TILE for some reason. Cheap trim too along with cheap sealer - we're talking the cheapest Home Depot grade materials. On the outside, they made several ugly miscuts and then tried to hide it all with a comically-large path of sealer, smeared all over my antique wooden siding. After I complained they returned to try to correct the job and managed to make it WORSE! Even Brock's salesperson agreed it was unacceptable. But then Brock stopped answering the phone or returning emails. They vanished for months. Finally I received a call demanding payment. I told them they had done damage and abandoned the work but other than acknowledging some of their mistakes their only response was to file a collection agency report FOR WORK THEY ADMITTED WAS SUBSTANDARD. There's a lot more to this story than just this too, but I don't want this review to go on forever, either. I urge strong caution to anyone considering doing business with this company.T

Just in case he changes his company name, his name is Jatinder Singh, his wife's name is Rajwant Kaur. This man is a thief, a fraud, a liar, heartless and every mistake of a human being. I unfortunately hired him to do my basemen. Oh my God, was it the biggest mistake and grief of my life!! I went to hell and back. From him taking my money upfront to not doing my basement to code, even though I paid him to get a permit from the city, to running away with my money. Even though we had a contract signed, this meant nothing to him. He stopped coming, stopped taking my calls, and when he picked up my calls by mistake, he promised and swore to come and finish but never showed up. I even went to his house two times but this did not deter him. I had to let go after two years, after him taking almost $50,000 from me for a crappy basement that was not to code. I had to hire another contractor, and started all over again. Everything JSTAR construction did, even up to the back entrance he dug were demolished and started all over again to code. Can you imagine this Jatinder Singh man just dug the back entrance and poured concrete without any securement and drainage holes and sump pump? With time--after much rain and snow--the entrance would have collapsed. God knows what would have happened to my basement also. Bottom line is, please run away as fast as you can when you hear even the mention of his name. PLEASE, PLEASE !! He needs to be stopped somehow before his act actually kills someone. I pray that Karma visits him and his household very very soon before he hurt another family.
