Mc Donald's are always the same but this one is always busy as it is right on the beach at a beautiful spot on the Gold Coast, of Australia. The staff are young and enthusiastic but at times can be flustered because it is so busy. I suppose this comes to the Manager on the day. The tables are cleaned frequently and there is outside seating as well. The bins are never overflowing, they are careful of this because the seagulls and the ibis scavenge the area. The food is the same as the others but I noticed that I got really hot fries the other day because there is a high turnover. Oh, they did run out of the chocolate soft serve! Ha read more

Bravo Throwers! - I'm originally from the Gold Coast and had never been to this Fish & Chip shop in…read moremy life. We did the morning over at Currumbin wildlife sanctuary and were craving some good ole' Aussie Fish and Chips and Throwers did not disappoint. The portion sizes are more than commensurate with the pricing as well as perfectly cooked, tasty and the wait was only 10-15 mins which was impressive with how busy the shop was. We got a special that included, chips (fries), calamari, 2 seafood sticks, 2 battered prawns, and 2 large pieces of fish for $25 and it was - as I said amazing. My advice - don't second guess it this place is affordable, tasty and fast. 5 stars all the way.
