1st time here while visiting relatives in Franklin. Ordered a Reuben sandwich though I was fearful the meet may be fatty. Boy, was I wrong. It was very lean, tender and fresh (steam was coming off the meat when served. The sandwich portion was big for the price (compared to California), and all the employees were very nice. I don't know why this place isn't rated higher. We will come back again

This McAlister's sits at the corner of Cool Springs Boulevard and Aspen Grove Drive alongside Moe's, Burger Up, CoreLife and a few other local eateries and businesses. They are located on the corner of a building, so you have two ways to enter the building. Parking can be tough during the lunch rush, but for the most part the complex has plenty of spots, not all of which will put you close to the door, but at least you will get a spot nearby. This is your standard McAlister's location, as they have the full menu of all the classics, including that addictive sweet tea, that we have all come to love. They do dine-in (inside/patio), delivery and to-go. My office is nearby and I have taken advantage of all these options and never had an issue. Service at the front counter is good for the most part, but on a few occasions I have experienced a less than friendly cashier and it is always the same fella. not sure if he has several bad days or maybe he is better suited for the less customer contact roles... Food wise all my meals have been as expected. The only issue is they run out of particular salad dressings on occasion and there is no substitute for that lime vinaigrette! I will say that on a recent pickup order where we paid online, when I arrived they let me know they were out of the dressing and unfortunately we did not want another dressing, so we got a refund of the order. For the issue the MOD gave me a coupon for a free meal, which was great service recovery. This location is a constant for lunch and dinners honestly. No major issues and a location that I will certainly continue to enjoy!

What a joke.... I should get a refund. My jalapeño Turkey ONLY came with turkey cheese and a SHIT ton of mayo, 2 gross pieces of avocado on a SUPER SOGGY roll. Missing bacon, tomato and chips. Don't order to go from here.

I ate here for lunch earlier today with some friends and really enjoyed it! I've always liked the food at McAlister's but this was my first time eating at this location. There is plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. For a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't busy at all, but this restaurant has plenty of seating for days when it might be busier. The employees that work here were all really nice and the cashier was very patient with me when I was trying to figure out what to order while also trying to keep my toddler from running all over the place. I ended up getting the macaroni kids meal for my son with chips on the side and it came with a cookie and drink. I got the choose 2 with smoky pepper jack turkey sandwich and a chicken tortilla soup. I expected the sandwich to have a kick of some sort but there was no bite to it at all. The bacon was the star of the show on it for sure and the turkey was great. The ciabatta bread on these sandwiches are always my favorite part - so soft and fresh! The soup was only ok... I've had many other chicken tortilla soups that tasted better. It was served piping hot alongside some plain tortilla chips. My only complaints are that the food seemed to take a while longer than I expected for it to be brought to the table but it wasn't ridiculous. Our friends that ate with us and ordered right before we did had already finished about half of their meals before our 2 plates were brought out, though. So nothing extreme. Oh and they started bussing our table before we left and I had a bag of food to - go for my parents sitting on the table and the man cleaning started shoving some trash from the table into this (nearly full) bag of food. So that was a little off-putting but again, nothing extreme. The restrooms were clean. Overall a good experience and I would definitely eat here again!

    Love their tea!

McAlister's Deli has some of the best sandwiches in the middle Tennessee area. This was my first visit to their Franklin/Cool Springs location but I have also been to their Murfreesboro location. I've had good experiences at both. They have loaded potatoes, salads, soups, sides and dessert. I saw a small sign for their special carrot cake which looked amazing but I did not try it. I really like their "famous tea" as well which comes in sweetened or unsweetened. I ordered a sandwich to-go and it was ready within 5-10 minutes in spite of it being a super busy weekend. I got their horseradish roast beef and cheddar and all of their sandwiches come with a choice of a side so I ordered the salt and vinegar chips. This sandwich was really good and I would order it again. The employees are nice, the service is good, the food is excellent and it was clean and nice inside. It is also good for groups and for kids. Tip: Sign up for their rewards club and they will send you a $5 off coupon during your birthday month

I have always been a fan of McAlisters! My husband and I stopped in for a super quick dinner before attending a local songwriters round. The place was basically empty! Only two other groups in the whole restaurant! Everything came out super quick and delicious. I got the McAlisters Club with a side of Mac and Cheese. My husband got the southwest salad. My club was fantastic! Can't go wrong with a classic sandwich! The Mac and cheese was delicious, but the serving of it was so tiny!! Wish they served larger sides with their meals! My husband wasn't the biggest fan of his salad. It had the tiniest bit of avocado on it (he loves avocado) and had way too much lime flavoring!! He still enjoyed it somewhat. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day until it started to rain! Always will be a fan and always will be back!

Went there for a bite to eat with my wife. True to it's name the food was good but service sucked. Finished my sandwich and salad before they brought me my drink, one of the servers had no face mask on ( heavy set lady). We usually go o McAlisters in Spring Hill; doubt if we'll come back here. Guess worker protection from COVID-19 doesn't apply here.

The staff were patient and helpful as I asked questions and considered all my options. I had forgotten that they brew Nashville's own 8&R spresso!! Their 16oz drinks come with four shots - coffee lovers like me will appreciate the strength! Most of their syrups are Monin, I think maybe I saw 1 housemade. What really sets this place apart is the charming farmer's market-style vibe. Besides food, coffee and fresh-baked pastries, they offer their own delicious sourdough and focaccia loaves to go, and a very thoughtful selection of local items - like organic Amish eggs ($6/dozen - unreal price right now and I saw they reuse the cartons/place to return them - heartwarming), bone broths, small-batch sauces, and so much more. I loved spotting a whole shelf of Republic of Tea bags, sold individually so you can sample new flavors before committing to a full tin. You can tell everything is chosen with care both in quality and with a community focus. Franklin Bakehouse is one of those places that just makes you feel good the moment you walk in. It def helped to see and pet some pups too (I assume they are welcome as there were some inside when I arrived).

This is my review for the bakery:…read more I really wanted to support this small bakery, but my experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. When I first visited, the owner, Steve Bledsoe, asked where we were from. After I said California, he told an employee to give us the "California discount." When the total came out to $40 per pie, I was shocked and asked why the price was so high. I was given a long explanation about premium ingredients and homemade quality. Feeling awkward and wanting to support a family-owned business, I went ahead and bought four pies. The next day, when I came back to pick them up, I noticed on the register that another customer had been charged $25 per pie. That was a big red flag. To double-check, I later called the shop as a new customer and was told pies are $25. When I asked to speak with the owner, his answers were inconsistent and unconvincing. I'm extremely disappointed. especially in a local business that relies on community trust. I left feeling like I was charged more simply because the owner thought he could get away with it. I will not be returning, and I hope the business reconsiders how it handles pricing and customer interactions. On top of the dishonesty. The pies were not great. I could have supported Costco and bought larger pies that tasted just as good, if not, better.
