I'm really upset with this place. They advertised a free flavor shot for your tea all week. The last few days I got it with my tea passes. Today I go in and they say I can't get it with the tea passes. Just because I don't buy another tea? I pay for the tea passes already. I've been going here for years. I may not be back. I go here every day after working at the hospital. It's my one pleasure after work. I can always go to HTeaO instead. They let their customers sample their tea. This used to be one of my favorite locations, but there's a lady working there all the time at the register with the personality of a 2x4. She doesn't speak when you say "Thank you", doesn't say anything at all after she hands you a receipt (which you'll have to ask for). She can't even be bothered to put the lid on drinks. I've tried making small talk with her, but there's just nothing there I guess. The food is still good most of the time, and there is a guy who works in the front who is really nice. Also, the restaurant dining area is always clean. I'll keep going because employees do leave at fast casual restaurants often, so maybe the next one will be friendlier. read more

I really try to like McAllister's. Seven times out of 10 visits Everything's just OK. Occasionally things are exceptional, but let me tell you about the constant struggles. Today my veggie spud is lacking toppings on half of it, only one broccoli Floret was included. The others were the broccoli stocks, which I think are not desired or really even edible. Potatoes were smaller than normal and they only put toppings on half of the potatoes. They just recently raise their prices for their spuds. Does that mean they have started limiting the toppings? In the past they'll give you stale chips or no chips at all for your nacho basket or add pickles when you didn't request pickles so your bread is now soggy and everyone in your house hates pickles. What a great way to ruin a meal. In the rotelle dip you'll find pieces of soggy chips, does that mean it accidentally fell in or does that mean that somebody was back there eating out of the queso and thier chip broke? Not sure Just make it right and give me what I paid for. That is all I ask. read more

We just ordered pick-up tonight and most of it was great! The salads were huge and amazing. The kids Turkey sandwich was oddly thrown together but nothing we couldn't fix. The main thing that bummed me out was that I paid an extra $1.50 for avocado and what they put on top was so so sad (see pictures attached). Kind of a jip but thankfully the salad tasted great. Having had the Deli items before in a different state.... I knew what to expect food wise-Good sandwich menus. Line was stacking up and A taller gentleman came to the front register to get my order lightning fast.(1 star +) He was super awesome and even whipped up the gallon of tea my dad decided to order late. Our food took super long to get prepared for some reason... When I say super long I mean 10+ minutes.( - 2 stars ) All items came out accurate and hot (1 star +) chicken tortilla soup was tasty, spicy chicken sandwich was delicious, Caesar salad was crisp and green! Big minus was with the tortilla chips for the soup... My hand sealed bag had a Penny in it. If the penny was supposed to be in there - Cool! But just me thinking about how MANY hands not washed had contact with the penny... Chips didn't get eaten. (- 1 star). Overall my visiting family was not impressed with the speed of service for the price paid...even though I got a penny back. We might give this McAlisters Deli a little time before returning. Tonight was pretty bad. Really really bad. We ordered the chicken Spud for each of us. I asked for sour cream added on the side along with salsa. I ordered two pizza kids meals for my 5&6 year old. The pizzas were so so tiny. I'm not sure how in the world this passed for good enough to serve to customers. I took a picture for reference. The other pizza was literally sauce and no cheese. My 6 year old refused to eat any of it. I might as well throw money in the garbage. After my husband took a bite of his chicken Spud he asked me how my chicken tasted. I had already added my own sour cream and salsa from home, because they forgot to add it in the bag and haven't taken a bite so I didn't know what he was talking about. This evening, I set up an internet pickup order at the McAlisters on Memorial Road in northwest Oklahoma City. What I failed to do was complete the order by hitting the "Place Order" button. After waiting at the restaurant for some time for the order to come out, I asked about it. The employee I spoke with asked a few questions and then went back to the kitchen. A couple of minutes later, a manager came out to help me. It turned out the mistake was on my end. He was both professional and gracious in taking our order anew. We had a take-out order; French dip with potato salad, chicken salad on a croissant with mac & cheese and the Ginormous spud with butter, bacon and cheddar cheese. My friend enjoy her ginormous baked potato-however it was a little undercooked other than that, very good. The chicken salad had shredded chicken, pecans,cranberries blended together with mayo served on a croissant with lettuce and tomatoes - tasty but a little stingy on the serving size of the chicken salad. The French dip presentation looked delicious, however the roast beef was dry. The melted Swiss cheese had more flavor than the dry roast beef. Thankfully, the au jus was very good. The mac & cheese was tasty, the potato salad was typical deli potato salad - nothing special. The restaurant is clean & I had excellent customer service. Every time I have done a curb side pick up order, something is always missing. Usually it's the pickles from the sandwiches and the desserts. Every time, it's like it's on purpose. Check your food order before you leave. I've even had missing sandwiches, missing items are very common. Save your Receipts, know your order and have it in hand before you go in to pick up your food. I ordered the spicy southwest chicken griller with chicken tortilla soup. The griller seemed a little on the soggy side today, but the soup was pretty good and bad a little kick to it. I'm so sorry for giving a harsh review but I've lived this location for 2 years now, I go religiously, and it's always guaranteed my order gets messed up or missed. I'm sure it's a bunch of young kids with new jobs and 9/10 they're sweet but your order will always be messed up, items missing, etc. you'll ALWAYS wait beyond the waiting time given and spend a long time waiting for curbside. Just left this McAlisters because I was craving a Taco Salad. Walked in and asked for a Taco Salad and discovered it is no longer on the menu. Then I asked to you have chili? And the answer was yes, can I get a salad with chili and cheese and was told it was not on the menu. Alright, this McAlister's is spot on. The service is ALWAYS great and the food is ALWAYS good. I generally get the chicken caesar salad and it's always delish. The caesar dressing is addicting. I'm a caesar salad snob. The mac and cheese is creamy and bombastic. I just recently tried a sandwich for the first time and it was pretty good as well. I got the spicy southwest chick griller. When you come in they ask if your order is for here or to go. We ate in so we received a number after paying and picked a booth to sit at. I had a very detailed order since I removed the butter, cheese, and onions from both my spud and my daughter's and I asked if I could do extra veggies instead. I crossed my fingers that the potatoes would be made correctly. Other than a few small onions on my daughter's spud they were correct. The potatoes were very dry and the veggie topping wasn't the best, I picked off the green peppers. I wonder if it would have been better with steamed veggies on top for some moisture.
