The only state veterans cemetery on the island of Kaua'i. Available trash bins and water spigots. The size is a fraction of the Punchbowl and yet serves as a reminder that even in the farthest islands you can find evidence of selfless sacrifice and service. Update 8/8/2019 Came for a Celebration of Life here…read moreyesterday. It was held in the covered open air columbarium. There were chairs and benches placed in rows. It would have been way more comfortable if there were standing or overhead ceiling fans but fortunately the family planned well and had ice chests filled with 8 oz sized water bottles for the friends, family, acquainces attending. The area that was used was clean. There are restrooms behind the one wall. Enter by going around the building on your left if not you will have to climb or limbo like me between the piped barrier. Roosters and chickens shared the space without any commotions. I did see a man pseudo bathing , shooting the water hose up his board shorts. He remained by the tree and his bike til he air dried. Although the area was open on 3 sides there were no trades and people used their program as fans. There was enough room to set up tables for the food, punch and hot beverages. The food was catered and there was a sound system for the guitar player, the looped video and the speakers. This Veterans Cemetary is in Hanapepe. My in- laws and some of their friends and relatives that served are at rest here. It's in a residential area and like most places on Kauai there are roosters and chickens here too. There aren't many visitors whenever we come, not even grounds people but it is well maintained. There are restrooms located in the back of the one building.

They cleaned my dress perfectly - it is brand new, off white lace and I dropped soy sauce on the front within five minutes of our dinner. It came back the same day completely cleaned and pressed, and I am thankful. It was pricey (we went through our hotel) but given it's a brand new dress I'd rather not wait and let soy sauce set until we get home - so I feel it was worth it.
