It is flanked by burgundy and green ti plants. It is a cemetery in three parts. The first is right behind the mausoleum. Here are the crisp head stones in sharp lines that mark the more modern graves of Japanese people. To the left is a field of much older Japanese graves. On each rests a stone covered in lichen, many of them carved in artistic shapes. This place feels like history. At the back is the cemetery for Latinos. It's a party - pinwheels, garland, bright fake flowers and children's toys. It feels like a celebration of the dead. This cemetery is an interesting and even exciting stop. I definitely recommend you pull over on the way to Koloa.

Communication and process went well. Bruce even traveled afar to deliver forms for me to sign. Another service was they delivered the ashes to my home. Thank you Janice for the delivery. Used their chapel and lanai area for the funeral. Everything went well. Im so relieved. Glad that's all behind me now. Thank you Garden Island Mortuary.

What was supposed to be a final goodbye was robbed from a grandfathers only grandson. Additionally, there is the concern of the other family that was involved in this matter. Our family member was to be cremated, while the other body was to be buried. Future customers BEWARE they do no handle your loved ones with respect. The most disrespectful, unprofessional, and inappropriate experience for us in our time of grief. We are extremely upset and will never be conducting business here.

The place is unkempt and overgrown and I love it like that. There is also a tractor on the property that is being swallowed by the native Kauai plants.
