I really like the color-coordinated line, with its plastic tableware, tablecloths, napkins, etc. If you shop anywhere else your chances of getting items that exactly match is a toss-up. The catering supplies - buffet line sterno containers, etc - is awesome. The staff is a tossup. Whether you get a truly nice, helpful sales associate or a surly, bored I-know-I'm-Just-A-Warm-Body-To/This-Company drone who treats you accordingly is very much left to chance. I don't think I am anywhere close to being important, and don't expect to get my posterior kissed, but a smile and a thank-you are not too much to ask. We had a horrible experience while we were shopping for supplies for our casual backyard wedding. When I came back at Christmas it was a complete flip - I thought they were sold out of an item, but the associate said she knew they had it, it just wasn't where it was supposed to be, and insisted on running it down for me. Store delivers on what it promises to stock. I shop at other Party City stores in the Triangle, but this one most often because it's closest to home in White Oak Shopping center

The associate said they'd been open almost a month. Customer traffic was steady and I observed the associates greeting each customer throughout the store. The store was clean, organized and bright! They had prices clearly labeled, which I appreciate. The ballon station was hopping and lots of moms that came in ordering balloons and purchasing for birthday parties. If you thought they were closed permanently, go check them out! They do have some steady competition down the way at pop shelf so if they're assortment and prices are competitive, I think they'll be just fine!

Hobby Lobby - Fabrics and notions purchased for costume

I want to make a fairly elaborate costume for my grandson for Halloween. There is little in the way…read moreof fabric near me, so we drove the hour and 20 minutes to Greenville. After some phone calls to the fabric stores list on Google, I found that none of the fabric stores carried what I needed and Michael's had zero fabric. Thank goodness for Hobby Lobby! They had EVERYTHING I needed- faux fur, faux leather, denim, faux suede, extra stiff large size interfacing, poly foam, buttons- etc. The sales woman was extremely helpful and friendly, and didn't mind that we had to pull 6 different fabric bolts, only cutting 1/4 yard from all but one of them. The prices were equal or better than online- and I now have 4 1/2 months to sew this behemoth, rather than endlessly looking on line and trying to ascertain whether the material would look the same color in person as on line, was it heavy enough or too heavy, would it be difficult to sew on my machine, etc. The store is clean and organized. The wait for the cash register was less than three minutes. I am thrilled with my purchase, and with Hobby Lobby. Thanks Hobby Lobby

Good gracious - I went to a Hobby Lobby on a Saturday (regular HL customers know that the busiest…read moreday) during the Christmas season! And on top of that - all Christmas was 50% off! What's wrong with me? Fortunately, it was a good experience. The entire Christmas section was well organized as well as nicely stocked. Although the section was busy with shoppers looking to take advantage of the 50% discount, it was fairly easy to find the items that I wanted for my home. Checkout lines were minimal and the wait was short.
