We had issues with our newly replaced roof and a leak damaged a very large portion of our kitchen area. We had to cut out a huge hole of the drywall and do a complete renovation of our ceiling area. Rocky, who owns his own business and was contracted by our roofing company to do the repairs, was very professional in every step of the way from the moment he first made contact with us to introduce himself to showing up on time as he said he would. Not only did he do an outstanding job but I also appreciated his wife who works along with him as his assistant, because she covered my floors and cabinets to prevent what could have been a very dusty and messy job. The repair was done in two visits: first the repair of the huge hole and then the paint job which was impeccable and flawless matching the rest of my ceiling to perfection. We hired Randy to work on our Caledonia Forest property and had numerous issues with him. Delays over and over again, little to NO communication, horrible shoddy work that we had to go over and fix ourselves, and then charged us over $10,000 more than the original quote, after months of delays from the promised work. I paid him around $10,000 for tiles from Heritage tiles and he stole nearly half the tiles and refuses to pick up his phone or provide information on where these tiles are. After I called him yesterday, since he blew off my employee about the tiles and told us its "our" problem, and left a voicemail that he better refund the tiles or get it to us - he and 3 of his employees left us 1 star reviews on our Google page. THIS is how this man and his "company" treat local business owners? Months of delayed work, tens of thousands in over priced work not completed on time, steals OUR tile that we paid for, then leaves OUR business negative reviews? Unbelievable. I have an incredible builder now who is top notch. If you need anything done in Clarksville, hire Bruce with Saunders Construction. And what ever you do, don't hire a THIEF like Randy Whetsell and his company. Making up lies it took 8 months to pay. Your first original invoice was sent on 11/1. It hasn't even been 8 months. How convenient your price went up over $10K AFTER you were called out for your lack of communication and the terrible work of your team. You got YOUR money, you refuse to call/communicate about my tiles, then have the nerve to leave my company 1 star reviews after how you and your team treated us? Unbelievable. RESPONSE TO STACEY: I wrote you guys one check that my bank chose not to honor. Now I wonder if it's because you guys have a history of scamming people? Then I asked you for a way to pay via card, and I paid my balance: IN FULL. You bet I took my time paying. When you guys delayed work by months and didn't communicate EVER unless I had to send numerous messages to Randy. What your operating costs are for accepting card payments in 2022 is relevant to the customer HOW? You guys ruin your own reputation. Screwing over a small business owner, steal my money and tile, do AWFUL work that we had to pay thousands more to FIX, then deny your theft of my paid property? I hope Clarksville runs crooks straight out of this city. No more business owners need to be screwed over by your company. And material cost doesn't jump by over $10,000 within a couple of months. Funny how that extra $10,000 got conveniently tacked on to my bill the day following my message to Randy about my disappointment in how terrible the work you guys did was and how often he continued delaying finished work with NO response or communication. PAID invoice slip attached below. Including nearly $19K for the tile and labor. We paid this invoice in full and this company stole nearly half the tile work that was never completed in our shop!
