Absolutely the WORST! DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!! He will drag the case out for over a year. He will file a plea agreement without his clients consent and when you tell him he made a mistake he lies to the judge for a reason to withdraw to avoid looking like a moron and to avoid the work of a trial. Leaving his client with a plea sentencing that was NEVER agreed to just to cover him own butt in attempt to not appear to be the unethical creep that he is in front of the court. He is so unbelievably disrespectful to women too. I knew he was shady from the start, that's why he refused to speak to his client with the parent present because he tries to bully and trick clients into plea deals that they don't want and shouldn't have to take when they are innocent. He refused to fix his mistake with the court despite a letter being filed with the court from his client stating no guilty plea was ever made and now the judge is giving him another attorney that I'm pretty sure she knows pretty well and is from the town she used to be a prosecutor in also. She completely ignored the letter from the defendant clarifying there was no guilty plea ever made. She then rescheduled a plea and sentencing without a guilty plea, refusing a right to a trial. This attorney also lied and said he would enter another pretrial before he withdrew but instead left the client hanging without clarifying his mistake so now his client is stuck with a new judge that has prejudicial bias and had already assumed a guilty verdict based on a separate case for an entirely different person. The worst part is that he is also a judge in Monroe county. It's extremely alarming that these unethical, dishonest, prejudiced bullies are allowed in the powerful positions they are so privileged to have. So many constitutional rights violated all the way around. REPORT these unethical lawyers and judges to the Iowa Judicial attorney disciplinary board AND the Judicial Commission Board before they are allowed to ruin more lives. read more
