The opening course was a pallet cleanser and representation of Portugal with the cod nochi, beet macaroon, squash soup, rillet.
The egg and caviar with smoked salmon was a nice treat. The course looked like I've seen before but the smoked salmon and preparation was slightly different.
Next was the truffle, scallop ravioli. The dish was simply yet complicated in the execution. The whole scallop was in the ravioli and in a rich truffle sauce. Yum!
The lobster was simply awesome! Cooked nicely and presented with a great risotto sauce and veggies.
The last main course was the beef. It was prepared perfectly and came with great veggie mashed and foams. The sauce was great match to everything. We also had the pigeon. It was made great like the beef and had a nice meaty flavor.
Next was dessert. It was a beautifully plate of creams, prepared fruits, coconut, and banana crepe. It tasted as good as it looked!
Lastly, I was glad I ordered coffee since it came with a little treat.
Overall, a fun experience. Recommended if you want French Portuguese and are in the area!
Heads up:
- Order coffee at the end and receive a nice treat that goes with it.
- The breads are really good. They come with a nice pate and butter. However, you will be charged 4€ per person.
- Be careful over eating the bread and pate. I almost ran out of room since I thought the portions were going to be small after the first 2 courses were smaller.
- The portions seem to get a little bigger after each course.
- Timing of each course can take awhile. Enjoy the experience!
