I'm appalled at how this place is still open outside of the fact that us Americans can't keep our chubby fingers out of fast food bags. I've been coming here for the past year or so, maybe once or twice a month, and the service is absolutely horrendous. I've had weird experiences here and the night shift is the worst time to go. I've heard drive through workers complaining and having horrible attitudes about everything. The lady who is missing half of her teeth running the window is the most miserable person I've ever come across and she is very unprofessional. I get it, it's just fast food and you don't expect top notch service. But it's disappointing when you have to pay 3$+ for a small cheeseburger anymore and can't even get decent customer service. Haven't ate at this location in 5 or so months and will continue to go to the one a mile or so up the road on Mahoning Ave. Do better whoever the franchise owner is !!! read more

Everytime I'm in line at the drive thru here I am reminded of how horrible this location is. Literally the slowest McDonald's I've ever been too. Would give zero stars if I could. I waited in line for a doordash order for over a half hour. There were no more than 8 cars ahead of me. This is the worst McDonalds in the world, maybe even in the galaxy. They weren't taking people's orders for over 10 minutes when they got up to the speaker. Terrible service. the only reason i gave a one because 0 wasn't available, 1/11/2023 at 10:03 am ordered 2 hash browns & 2 sausage egg & cheese mcmuffins , no customer at drive thru i was the only one & an armored money truck was inside. i was not given a receipt. my bag a 2 sandwiches 2 hash browns but when i got home the sandwich wrappers started stated they had egg included but egg was not on either sandwich. how hard is it to get an order right when i was the only one at the drive thru. is the staff that lazy, can't read or just care. never again will i go to any mcdonald's & will post to see others don't either. boy! what would happen if someone came with a large ordered, they should not be in business! read more

Awful, if you are ever in Austintown Ohio and want Mcdonalds, think of somewhere else to go. One time I had to use the restroom on the way to somewhere I was going and they wouldn't let me. They said that you can't just walk in and use the restroom without buying something, so the lady made me purchase something so I got the chicken nuggets..... Awful decision, some of them had black moldy stuff on them and then I finally got to use the restroom and there were flies EVERYWHERE. There were dead flies all over the toilet seat unflushed diarrhea (some was on the seat too.) Then I saw someone get a milkshake (their milkshakes are pretty good.) so I went up to the lady asking if I can have a chocolate milkshake and she said "no. You must purchase something over $5 to get a milkshake". So then I knocked over a table and left. read more

McDonald's - Here's the moldy chicken from my review - Fast Food Near Me - Austintown Township, Ohio

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 100 STARS I WOULD111 I went through the drive-through and ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal and then when I pulled up to pay the nice worker repeated my order to me but she said that it was a double quarter pounder with cheese meal. I kindly brought this to her attention so she could potentially fix it. At this point I have not handed her my card yet because we were in the middle of fixing my order. She called her manager over the manager was a skinny blonde woman with pink eyeshadow and a gray manager shirt on. The worker seemed to be explaining the situation to her and then she turned around to the window and told me that it was OK and so I assumed that she had fixed my order. They both walked away from the window then. And then the manager in the gray shirt returned to hand me my food I showed her my receipt and explained to her that I wanted a quarter pounder instead of a double quarter pounder. She proceeded to say to me that I had not ordered a quarter pounder but I had ordered a double quarter pounder. She started to say something along the lines of I said A number three but there is no way she could've thought I said that because my exact order was this. " I would like a large fry a bottle of water a quarter pounder with cheese meal large size with a large Dr Pepper no ice and only ketchup and cheese on that quarter pounder please" i'm the type of person who orders the same thing when I go through drive-through so there's no way that I would've missed spoke or said something wrong and even if I had she was extremely argumentative and rude and uncooperative. She continued to argue with me not only about the quarter pounder but also about how I had already been cashed out so she couldn't fix it for me. I then brought to her attention that I tried to tell the worker before I handed her my card that something was wrong with my order. The manager denied this and said that she hadn't even come over to the window before I had been cashed out but I obviously know that this is not true because I'm sitting in my car and I watched her walk over to the window to talk to the crew member who had called her over. I am extremely extremely extremely dissatisfied with the service of this manager and I Do not understand how you could promote someone like her to manager or even let her work there. I did not get her name but the receipt should have the time and the date that this occurred and I think she was the only manager there and I have described her to you so I hope that something will be done about this terrible terrible terrible customer service. She argued about many many things and gave a ton of attitude. All of it which was unwarranted because I happen to also work in the food industry so I'm overly nice to food workers because I know how it is and yet she had the audacity to argue with me and argue with me and argue with me. She also threatened to call the cops which is when I decided to end the altercation and drive on because I'm not trying to punish the customers behind me or anything but I was desperately trying to get her to understand what she was doing wrong and how she was acting. Overall I am extremely appalled by the service. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED AND I HOPE SOMETHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT HER. read more

It was made fresh considering it was close to noon, not bad till I got to the last few bites and thought my mustache hair was getting in the way and that's when I pulled a long ass piece of dark hair from my mouth. Every time without fail they always mess up the order. I just ordered a two Big Mac meals and they didn't give fries for the fifth time.

Just went to both McDonald's in Austintown, Raccoon Rd and Mahoning Ave. First stopped at Raccoon to get two large fries. Waited 10 minutes behind 3 cars just to get to order. Once I ordered we sat and sat and sat until finally I pulled out of line and left without my order. This is the same location that locks their doors at dinner time ! Left there and went to the one on Mahoning ave in Austintown. Pulled up and there , no one was inside. Ordered my 2 fries and pulled around the drive thru. Three cars in front of me and guess what . I sat there and waited and waited and then after about 10 minutes I got up to the window and the girl told me to pull forward they were waiting on my fries! Are you kidding me? What a joke , there isnt anybody who I have talked to who has ever visited these locations has not had the same experience. How the McDonald's corporation is okay with allowing these locations to be run so poorly is just amazing. read more

Here's a little history about my previous experiences. I stopped going to the Raccoon road location 2-3months ago due to poor management, ran out of buns one day, incorrect orders and bad customer service. Also they closed the lobby at 8:30 (an hour and a half early) but that's besides the point of what happened today at the Mahoning location After my 2-3 month hiatus from this establishment. We go through the drive thru around 7. Pull up to order. I tell them to wait a moment while my girlfriend and I sort out our order. I had to repeat myself 4 times because they weren't responding. I politely give my order a 5th time "2 10 piece nugget meals both large, Dr Pepper, sprite, bbq sauce and sweet&sour. I get the typical shitty McDonald's attitude from the employee (to be expected). Without checking the order (which I shouldn't have to being on-the-go) we head home, open the bag to find were missing a large fry and we got ranch instead of sweet&sour. My bottom line is whoever is running the franchise in this area, whoever manages both Austintown Locations, they all need fired and shut down. I honestly cannot tell you all the last time I've had an experience where something didn't go wrong. It's been years. This company has been spiraling downhill and it's time to come to an end. A little added information.... I have 4 years of food service experience. I understand long waits due to a short staff or busyness, but I cannot put another penny of my money into these terrible locations to not get the service I deserve. It's within this company that they want $15/hour (even if it isn't locally, but mainly on the news) so this is a solid no from us. read more

I went through the drive through and I looked through the windows and it looked dirty and gross inside. They never have ice cream or milk shakes ever at any location. I was reading other reviews while I was waiting for my food (which took long) and there were some pretty bad ones. The place itself looks dirty and old but the food was just like any other McDonald's. I wouldn't recommend it but if you're in dire need of a McDonald's and you're close to this one, I think it's safe to say it's fine. I only gave this 2 stars because the food is goodish. read more

I'm not sure if this location and the Mahoning Avenue franchise are ran by the same person, but Austintown got the shaft on an even half way decent McDonald's. I've stopped at this location 3 times, every single time without fail my order is either wrong or poorly put together. The last time I stopped here I was literally grunted at by the girl working the drive thru window. Just like the other location this one seems to be constantly understaffed, line wrapping around the building, and the service is beyond poor. I no longer stop here, if I really want McDonald's I drive into Niles. read more

Purchased what I thought was a Pumpkin spice cappuccino but got a Latte instead and it was not good. So I tried one more time to get a pumpkin spice cappuccino which this time I got a poor excuse for one. It not only didn't taste good the cup was just a little past 3/4 the way full and was very weak in taste. For what McDonald's is charging ($3.49 or $3.39) they need to do a lot better. Got a large Pumpkin spice cappuccino from the Shell gas station on Shields and Market Street for 99¢ and it was not only bigger than McDonald's large it was good. So will not be going to McDonald's for cappuccinos again. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Stay away unless you have 10 minutes to wait for the wrong order in the parking lot if you go to the drive thru. If you go inside you get to be ignored by the staff who are talking amongst themselves even and usually pretty loud. I worked at a couple of fast food places when I was younger and would have been fired if I had ignored guests to talk to my fellow employees. This location isn't the only one in this area like this but by far the worst. I'm done with them and suggest you don't go there either. If you do just order the cheapest thing on the menu because you won't get it anyway. read more
