The staff are always happy to help and one member of staff remembered us even though we had only been once before about a month ago! I was quite impressed as this is a busy restaurant at weekends. There is a pub next door to the restaurant which has nice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.

Dennistoun BBQ does super casual dining really well. It was hard to eat though so I ended up just aiming on eating the fillet rather than the burger. I tried a couple of sides; cajun fries and mac cheese. The cajun fries are amazing and probably the best I can remember eating in Glasgow. There was just the right amount of seasoning and they packed a good punch. You know what makes Cajun fries even better? Dipping them into mac cheese. Oh yeh, I went there and I'm not ashamed. My friend Sharon M wasn't all that impressed with the mac cheese but she is pretty judgemental (I mean that as a compliment, she makes a damn amazing mac cheese) - personally, I liked it.
