Initially had a very nice order taker (young man) pleasant conversing polite. Then get to window and a young punk (male with tattoos) had a terrible attitude and rude. We asked for ten catsups and just ignored us and told us to go wait our front and they will bring out food. They brought out food large fry HALF full and no catsup. Husband went in asked for a full fry and catsup and they still forgot catsup! So in all we asked 4 times for catsup. When my husband walked away a woman mumbled under her breath some people! With the large amount of unemployed people Macdonald's ought to be choosier as to who they hire! Bad bad service! Standards are really bad! I'm going to In n Out next time! The people and quality are great. The service is what's horrible. Every time we go to this McDonalds they always ask us to pull forward and wait and 3/5 times they get our order wrong. Thinking we could save time and be more efficient, we downloaded the app and we still have to wait and they continue to miss at least one items from our order. I don't like writing negative reviews but today was the last straw. The McDonald's in Buellton used to be fast, friendly and efficient but in the last year it has declined and keeps declining. Today, after ordering in the drive through, I was again asked to go wait in the drive through spaces in the parking lot. I waited outside for over 10 min for a small order of 3 sandwiches. I sat there and watched as cars came and went through the drive through. I finally went inside and had to wait 5 more min at the counter for help. My order was never made, so I had to wait some more. There has been problems with almost every order we have gotten there recently. I'm writing this in the hopes that management actually pays attention to the reviews and does something. read more

4/17/2021 was the worst experience I ever had at any McDonald's. Soggy fries in both boxes of large fries and were only 3/4 full on both boxes, I ordered regular Coke was given diet coke and not regular, no pickles in the big macs. They took my order at 1103am and then told me to pull into location 3 where I had to wait till 11:27 to have them bring my order to me. There were also other people waiting just as long in spots 1 & 2. Order number 28, I was so upset I just threw everything away in the trash except my son's regular hamburger. I went through the drive-through and ordered a Big Mac combo. The voice through the order box said "be right with you". A few minutes later after no more response, I asked "is anybody still there". Finally they responded and took my order. When I drove off and parked in the parking lot to check the order, the BigMac had only one hamburger patty. I want to go ahead and understand that some people have a bad day so I returned about three weeks later to give them another try and decided to walk in. I stood at the counter for five minutes while people walked around behind the counter and never approached me or acknowledged my existence. I walked out and will never walk in again! One evening after dinner we walked over from the Marriott Hotel next door for a vanilla ice cream cone and a caramel sundae. Driving up the 101 from OC to SF with Dad, it was 1pm and we were FAMISHED. Apparently, Santa Barbara is a pro at disguising all possible fast food options from the highway. So we drove, and drove, and drove until the next city appeared. Buellton. This partic location is unique in that their lot is far enough removed from the main road. it's it its own valley, if you will. You must drive down one hill to reach it, and uphill to depart. Big ol' parking lot is nice. Everything else is standard fare, but we are pleased at the lack of crowds and plentiful of tables. $1 hot fudge sundae anyone? read more
