It's hard to believe it's been nearly a decade since that trip. What made this stop memorable wasn't the meal, but a moment of unexpected nostalgia. Sitting outside on a bench was a Ronald McDonald statue, casually posed with one leg crossed and his arm stretched across the back of the bench. I hadn't seen one of those in years. It instantly took me back to childhood -- a reminder of simpler road trips and the small details that made stops like this feel special. I love MCDonalds food and especially their coffee products. This is a second day in a row that I was in line and it was so slow that I pulled out of line and left. I'm don't know what has happened but recently their lines are extremely long and very slow. I am disabled and getting in and out of my car is difficult so it isn't handy for me to go inside. read more

Modern and uber-convenient McDonald's right off highway 36 in Chillicothe (where sliced bread was invented). I stopped by twice on my way to and from a work visit 90 miles away. Ordered a caramel macchiato at the counter on my way out, used the self-order kiosk for a sandwich and smoothie during the lunch rush when I was heading back. I observed other customers using their smart phone apps to place orders, and others using the pickup parking spots (where they bring your food to you). The drive through lines were kept moving, and bathrooms were clean. They have plenty of regular parking and lots of seating inside. read more

13 minutes to get curbside order and then it was missing an item. Tried to call and no one picked up. Not impressed

Great food and great service expect for at night at night it's really slow and takes almost an hour

Took over 40 minutes to get food after ordering, the staff completely ignored all of the customers waiting in the restaurant. If I hadn't already paid I would have gone across the road to Burger King. read more

Took 11 minutes for them to get me an iced tea, INSIDE the restaurant!!!!! They don't have a public drink fountain anymore and people with numbers after me, who had entire meals, got their order first. No thank you. read more

This is a McDonald's and when you go here you are going to get what you would expect at any other McDonald's. This place is better than Burger King In my experience but in general if you are not in a hurry I would go somewhere else. 3/5~MP read more

This review is based on comparison of other McDonalds. The food is regular McDonalds quality of food. Service has always been friendly. Establishment always clean - I've never seen dirty empty tables. Although I'm a little bit of a germ-a-phobe I think it's fair to say the bathrooms are pretty clean for public restrooms (okay, the women's, anyway). Drive through is pretty slow and seems to get orders wrong more than when you dine in. I usually go inside to order, even if I'm taking it to go. read more

Caramel frappes, sweet tea, great people...what's not to love? This place is packed on Saturday mornings. I love the mix of people and the great people watching. Sitting here on a Saturday morning reminded me how much I miss the people of the Midwest. Just listening to the old farmers and their wives talking about their church services and seeing all the kids dressed for sports practices and families stopping off the highway on their road trips to somewhere...makes me so thankful for those "fly over states" where I'm from. I enjoy the small things in life. While Los Angeles has its fair share of people watching for more strange reasons at times, I love going back to Missouri and being around people that I love. Look forward to moving back to Texas or Missouri when my time in the Air Force is done. McDonald's on a Saturday morning in Chillicothe is one happening social spot, and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean and has WiFi as I believe all McDonalds do these days. read more

Incredibly slow - my food was cold after waiting quite a while for it! There were lots of employees that seemed to be socializing more than working. And what's up with the white t shirts for uniforms? The remodeled look was okay but was not being used efficiently in certain aspects (particularly the drive through). Definitely will never be coming back!!!! read more

I know some of you are saying....how can you give McDonalds a rating of five. Well this review is for their coffee. The cup of Joe was needed more than wanted. We were coming to the end of a 12 day jaunt and completely exhausted. It was going to take some serious wake up tonic to get these bag of bones moving. Over the last few years McDonald's coffee has been giving Starbucks a run for its money (IMO). I had the Mocha and hubby had a regular coffee. Did the job just right at a much better deal. I am another Los Angeles person who originally came from the Midwest like the previous reviewer. THIS McDonald's was incredible! We came on Thursday not a Saturday; and there were Several groups of seniors enjoying their morning coffee together. But the reason I'm giving it a five star review is Because of the employees in the design of the place! It is so modern and so beautifully designed for adults for a change. Is one older woman employee I don't know her Name, Very short gray hair who works like crazy. We have been here over an hour and she has not stop sweeping floors, washing windows, cleaning counters, serving coffee, Yes Refilling coffee cups from a carafe to a group of seniors. I spoke with her and she has been here for seven years. Anyone would be lucky to have an employee like her. No I'm not related. I don't know her. we've never been in this town Chillicothe but will definitely stop here again if we find our way on this highway on future trips. We traveling in an RV and there's plenty of parking for any size. That was a big advantage as well. Also it's right next to a Walmart. read more

We go here sometimes, but don't recommend it at night. The night woman is very rude and snappy. Most of the time the food is good, but sometimes the fries taste like they have been sitting in old grease for hours. read more

Partial order of a large fry, food was "like warm" both my sandwiches were squished flat. Been here maybe 5 times in the past 2 months and both times took over 20 minutes to get our food. Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy. read more

Not my choice for coffee. Once you're used to Starbucks nothing else compares. I used to love their Frappé and lattes but now it just tastes so syrupy and sugary. Gross! read more
