I ordered two Double Cheeseburgers; my daughter ordered a Double Cheeseburger, Fries, and a Dr. Pepper. My order was filled quickly and I picked it up at the counter. One of my burgers had a huge glob of mustard that was as much outside the bun as inside. I ate my food. Enough time passed to have eaten it again. Finally my daughter's table number was called out (instead of bringing it to the table), so she went and picked it up. The fries were really good, and the burger was up to par. After 15 minutes they got to the one person in my line and the other person in the other line and when I got up to the speaker, silence, for two more minutes. At that point I gave up. Ever watched a car crash and wondered how you could have stopped it from happening? That is how I felt about the employees and them getting berated from customers. My son and I decided last Sunday to take a drive up to Wyoming. We took 85 north and stopped at this McDonald's (in the Greeley area). I was shocked how busy it was on a Sunday morning, especially as early as it was. The drive-thru had 2 lines and both were backed up around the building. We decided to go in. There was a line but nothing horribly long. I figure if you have seen one or two McDonald's, you have seen them all. However, I thought this one looked nicer than others. The floors, walls, and layout was modern and clean. There was a lady taking care of the trash when we walked by. It only took about 5-7 minutes to place my order. My son remarked how I should have used the automated system. I personally hate those things. I prefer interactions with people, not computers. Anyways, we waited about 20 minutes for our food but it never came. Then I start hearing all this screaming. There were 2 separate customers who were literally yelling at the staff they wanted a refund NOW because they waited so long for their food. I get the wanting a refund or at least wanting your food, but the yelling I do not get. It isn't going to make them move any quicker for you. This one guy was a real jerk too. Who talks to people like that? I guess not all of us were born with manners and showing respect to people, especially service workers. They looked short-staffed, which to me falls on management. I truly felt bad for them, including the lady who took the brunt of the yelling and customer issues. Finally the irate (young) guy gets his money and still goes on his tirade. I had enough at this point and said 'hey, how about some manners! You aren't the only customer here and frankly the rest of us want to eat in peace!' I went so far as to apologize to the lady on all our behalf's. My order was screwed up, not once but twice. My son didn't get an extra sandwich he ordered and my Mango smoothing wasn't included. They fixed it! I brought it to their attention, nicely and politely, and they fixed it. There is no reason on God's green earth to EVER act as that jerk did towards service workers. They don't make enough money (even with the BS minimum wage thing our silly government implemented, another rant for another time) that they should tolerate such behavior from anyone. So I am giving this place 3 stars. One for a very nice decor. Two for the lady who was keeping things clean and taking care of trash. Three for the woman at the register who kept her cool (when I might not have) with two irate customers, one being a real jerk yelling! From all the review's I have already read on this place, McDonald's senior management or Corporate should be stepping in to give training, perhaps bring in a better team to work on 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' and 'SPEED'. When people go through 'drive-thru', it means they are in a hurry. Most places have a time limit set on how fast the order gets out. They also have protocols in place to confirm orders are done accurately. Receipts should AUTOMATICALLY be given too, not just when a customer asks for it. I could give a list of things that should be handled with regard to Customer Service, it is part of my job too. I hope McDonald's works to improve this location. read more
