In Europe its different... a lot of times I step into a McDonalds feeling like I've stepped into a posh upper-side city Cafe. The one in Starnberg... mah. Its older than most other McDonalds I've been in Germany, although it is clean, and the decor is still a plus compared to the Americans. However, it is a bit more pricey than the normal McDonalds (those Starnberg Millionaires!) And worst of all... they don't carry the Ritter Sport Erdbeer Johgurt McFlurry. But after all... a McDonalds is a McDonalds.

It looks neat-o! My friend tells me that the bus is for kid parties and can be rented out. Wow. We get through the drive thru, which kind of makes you feel like you are going under the sea. I like it. Well, I had to come back to see what the inside looks like. It's amazing. Not only are there freshly cut flower in glass vases on the tables, but there is also a table that looks like a boat! All the kids (and I) wanted to sit there. There are these cool tanks of water or something on the wall. The chairs and tables are very nice. It's really clean and has nice bathrooms. The only catch is, they don't take credit cards. But this is the best McDonald's I have ever been to. I'm not a fan of the food, but this McDonald's sure is cool. I wonder if I could have my birthday party in the bus...

My husband and I enjoyed a very nice lunch here. We had traditional Doner sandwiches, with the…read moremeat shaved from a roasting spit. The sandwiches were quite large and filling, with fresh vegetables, nicely spiced meat, and tasty sauce. We ate inside, but many people ordered take out from a convenient window at the front of the shop. The employees spoke little English, but managed to communicate with them, and they were good natured and patient with our poor German skills. We felt that the food we ordered was a very good value. The portions were large and all of the food was made to order. They stay open later than some of the area restaurants, so this could be a good option for a late night bite.
