Aweful - BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO HERE!!! On-way-to-an-appointment we ordered breakfast - was in a rush. We sat in Pick-Up Slot # 7 for 14 minutes - app "dinged-us" telling us to enjoy our meal and thank you for your patronage!" WELL, we had not received our meal!!! Waited 4 more minutes - by now I am late to my appointment and furious I go into the restaurant with digital receipt...Still NO FOOD... & waitstaff says she is working on her day off and order is in the back somewhere" HER WORDS! So, I ask for her Manager, who has no last name. She referred to herself as Elizabeth, and was rude, condescending and I'll-mannered. Not a good combination for me. I turned to apologize to every customer in the store for what was about to happen I demanded service - she said SHE was calling the Police - I reminded her that she (the "Mc-app" told me that I received my food about 10 minutes ago...STILL NO FOOD. I turned around to hear my wife come into the restaurant "demanding our meals". The waitstaff then came out to our vehicle and stood by the car with our meals ( now cold) in her hands. She proceeded to cuss and yell at my wife and said that she was working on her day off!!! In about five minutes two local Lenoir County Sheriff cruisers show up to talk with the workers.... Stopped by this location for breakfast. Stopped at a curbside spot and placed my order. Two Egg McMiffins and a Sausage Egg McMuffin meal deal. My food will be out in a few minutes turned into "Have they forgotten about me" or "Did they even get my order?" Twenty-one minutes later, we received our order and headed back on the road. The food was just okay warm, closer to cool than anything. To boot, my daughter's Sausage McMuffin had no egg on it! Whaaaaaat? C'mon man! All in all, we got mediocre food at best. Tough to stop here again when in the area with all of the other places to go. Seems to be a trend with McDonalds depending on location.Either real good or sort of not. read more

We stopped by here to get breakfast for the road. The parking lot was filled and so was the counter. It took one person over 20 minutes to make one order and the line was wrapped around but they didn't want to open another cashier line. We ordered a few chicken biscuits and coffee to go. The price was listed on the board but they tried to ring up another price. They told us that the board isn't correct. We asked to speak to manager and was given a side of attitude. The manager said that the price would come out to what was listed but that's not what the cashier told us. I don't know why the manager thought it was necessary to give us a whole explanation but was rude about it. If an item is shown as $2.50 but ringing up as $3.50, that's a McDonald's problem and not me ordering incorrectly. The food came out within 15 mins and was hot. It tasted okay. All in all, one of the better McDonalds that I've been to. However, there are a two important details that every customer NEEDS to know. #1. HOURS OF OPERATION Even though Yelp claims that this facility is 24-hours, that is WRONG. According to my information, this was changed sometime before April 18, 2021. Dine-In opens at 5:30 AM and closes at 11:00 PM (12:00 AM, or midnight, on Fridays and Saturdays). Drive-Thru opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 3:00 AM every day. For the skeptics AND clarity, I've taken a picture of BOTH hours of operation where they can be found: on one of the front doors and the drive-thru itself. #2. DRIVE-THRU In addition to the changed hours, there are two important things to know: 1. ALWAYS pull up to the SECOND speaker - NOT the first. 2. There is a turn that some people take that's near Lowes in an attempt to skip the line and reach the second speaker. While there have not been any accidents since this review was released, I STRONGLY recommend that you NOT take that turn unless it's to join the line, that way you DON'T get into an accident. There's a chance that a customer may not see you, or may not be able to slam on their breaks in time in your attempt to skip ahead of them. Food can wait... accidents, well... not so much. read more

Order at Kiosk and there is no receipt paper and hand sanitizer is out at all stalls. Order number is called and placed on counter before I could ask for my cup which is never given when order is placed. Finally get someone's attention (the front of the store is not manned by anyone. This is a big no no in food retail.) and they get my cup. Go to drink area and it is filthy. No lids for medium or large drinks Tables are filthy as well. Seems like the only attention the employees pay is to the drive thru. There was one employee sitting in the lobby on break I guess. When I worked at McDonald's you did not take your break until the dining room was at least in a presentable order. These three McDonald's in Kinston haven't been good for a long time but have gone down even more since the new owners have taken over. Comments and complaints to them always go unanswered. read more

Visited this location more times than I'd like to admit. Hey, what can I say? The parking lot has a decent amount of space. The drive thru can be packed depending on what time of the day you get there. The food is always hot and fresh and made as ordered. The customer service is professional, sometimes above and beyond depending on who's working. All in all, this location will deliver as expected. There's not too much to say about fast food locations to me, and I can go on and on and create something but I think short, sweet and simple should suffice. I'll be visiting this location more and will update the material should anything change. But, you know, it's McDonald's. read more

Ordered a special order quarter cheese hoping that would guarantee a freshly cooked patty. Not the case these days. The patties are cooked way ahead. Burger was so dry I had to throw it away. You won't be seeing me again. read more

September 15th around 4pm I had ordered a Big Mac, it was by FAR the best burger I've ever received from any location I've been to, coming from an avid traveler and a frequent customer. the buns tasted fresh baked and the cheese was melted perfectly, the Patties werent tough at all, the sandwich was HOT, perfectly distributed sauce. I know what you're thinking - "it's McDonalds... it's not that deep" but it really is I have never been more satisfied with fast food. not to forget the service was fast, super polite, and definitely an unforgettable experience. They don't listen to what you order. There light is off when it's a 24 hour fast food restaurant. The line was long and it took longer than 15 minutes in the line. So slow and don't recommend people who are on their break to go there if your in a rush. read more

They have mold caked up from the creamer... mold from the oreo and m&m dispenser. Mold on the walls... bc of uncleaniness, Some of the worst mangers as well.... saying this as an employee and its distrubing as much as it is disgusting on how mangers notice this but DO NOT CARE. read more
