I have never come across such soddy service. I went in for a Big Mac yesterday morning (28/6/10). There was nobody else waiting to be served. I was ignored by 6 staff behind the counter who all carried on with their conversations / meeting / doing nothing. When somebody finally got round to acknowledging me her approach and attitude were so slovenly I nearly walked out there and then. The lump of a girl shuffled up slowly, and could easily have been shufflling around her bedroom in her carpet slippers such was her failure to pick her feet up. It was a "Yeah" (which could roughly be translated into I'm neither interested in serving you or bothered about the impression I convey) not a "Hello what can I get you", that greeted me. No "please" or "thank you" when she asked for or was given my money. She might as well have thrown the burger at me the way it was tossed down on the counter. And to cap it all, this girl appeared to have 2 stars on her badge, so clearly somebody who had been doing the job for a while, must have undergone training, yet clearly had no intention of putting it to any use whatsoever, as had the restaurant's management in supervising her approach and monitoring the damage she was doing to their business. Still, having been ignored by 6 staff from the moment I walked it, it would appear obvious that nobody in the joint has had, or taken any notice in customer service training. Management note - you've lost my custom, I'd respectfully suggest you get on to the case and lose your shoddy staff and their exceptionally poor attitude and approach. WORD TRAVELS read more
