Here are the opening hours and quiet/busy times. Sunday * 12pm to 7pm Monday * 10am - 7pm Tuesday * 10am - 7pm Wednesday * 10am - 7pm Thursday * 10am - 7pm Friday * 10am - 3pm Saturday * Closed This review will probably change to five stars when I go. Still, I'm a big online fan because otherwise I can spend half a day looking for somewhere to eat. And the online menu does say they love people with allergies. However there is no mention of gluten or gluten free on the menu. Maybe this is related to the tightening of Australian rules into "gluten friendly" rather than gluten free. Since their specialty is hot sandwiches, I'm up in the air on the gluten front. If they will allow choosing from the sides and extras menu, that would be perfect. I also like how many of their prices have stayed reasonable, with five dollar coffees, I don't know if I can eat them but their egg sandwiches for Brekky look positively dreamy.

What a unique interior- hard to explain but almost like being on a ship. They told us they have a business in Alaska and fish for their own salmon and transport it here so of course I had to try the special. It was fantastic. Can't eat it like a sandwich so ask for a fork :) Hubs had the Deli Rose and loved it. Ate every bit. Friendly service, lots of languages spoken here. Loved it Aussie 43.50

I have to Admit i went to the i think first Chur Burger in Sydney (Surry Hills) bout 2 years ago…read moreand got pulled pork and something else with sweet potato chips.. burgers were a bit bigger than sliders back then and the burgers were a bit soggy and nothing special Was at Rooty hill for a bodybuilding competition and found chur burger downstairs, they've revamped the menu big time and i was actually tempted to steal one of the ready made burgers on the counter awaiting to be served hahah!! Alot of the burgers had hot sauce and I'm a mild kind of guy, i could off added another sauce but the Chur beast lit up on the menu, was the biggest burger for the biggest guy (tallest) :)!! My mate got the ol blue which i will have to get next time :D Im focusing on eating slower these days.. I'm one of those guys to breath in my food lol, burger was pretty big so at the start i had attack on the bottom then the top till i got to the middle :). I got it on a gluten free bun and i have to admit the burger was super tasty.. didn't want to put it down almost like a good book :)! Got some standard but always tasty chips with chicken salt :) Good mate got the ol blue which was blue cheese, aged cheddar cheese with bbq sauce and onion rings with a beef patty was so tempted to steal a bite, he got the sweet potato chips and they had gotten better aswell :) Easy 5 stars for a better NZ burger place next to Burger Fuel :)!!!

I like burgers but it's not a selling point to my foodie adventures. One interesting fact it is Filipino owned and operated. It's not the type of food Filipinos tend serve. That piqued my curiosity to see what motivated the proprietor to this specific food type. It's a nice menu but I did not see anything that could give me that wow statement. I ordered the Old School burger; a hand crafted beef patty, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, boss mayo and ketchup. With a Cascade ginger beer I really liked. There wasn't much people there but service was a bit slow. We were beginning to wonder if they forgot or had to kill the cow first. The burger was good but I don't know if it was good enough to be $13.00 Aussie. The beef was seasoned nicely. Some savory juices were gushing out as I bit into it making my mouth happy . The place was immaculately clean with a contemporary setting. Nice place to hang and catch up with friends. I enjoyed being there with my people.

I am very happy to say I achieved this. I sought inspiration from the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger and his Blueprint. Having completed my chest and back workout at Anytime Fitness Mount Annan I made my way quickly to Camden to sate my insatiable hunger and add to my ongoing list of conquered burgers. I walked into the half full 1950's diner and was actually impressed by the look. From the outside it didn't look like much but being inside I could notice all the details. Chrome fittings, cool old motorcycle hanging from the wall along with old timey posters, my favourite being the "Unattended children will be given espresso and a free kitten". Also awesome were the old movies playing at the back of the diner with a little Johnnie Cash playing in the background. I sat down quickly in my comfy retro Cadilac style booth and picked up and opened the menu feeling like a fat kid staring at cake (inappropriate I know). It was hard to control myself but I finally decided on a BBQ Ranch Burger, Curly Fries and Root Beer which came as a combo for $18.90. I sat around appreciating the theme and listening to The Man in Black and even took a call from mate for around 10 minutes. The wait time was probably a little too long, especially given my body's need for fuel. Luckily my mate kept me occupied until my burger came out. I had to get off the phone quickly because of the picture right in front of my face. It was a monster of a burger filling both of my hands. The bun was soft and yielding and glowing golden brown. I bit into the burger tasting all of the components and feeling all the different textures. The bun was slightly sweet and oh so soft, the taste of the smokey BBQ sauce mingling with the ranch dressing was next along with the crispiness and sweetness of the onion rings. The saltiness of the bacon came next followed by the cheddar which had melted onto the thin style beef patty which was cooked crispy adding another layer of texture with some juiciness. The beef stumped me on this burger and i'm not sure what they were going for, but it kind of tasted like processed sausage meat? Hmmmmm. The burger finished off with the fresh tomato and good quality lettuce. The curly fries were perfect, with great crunchiness on the outside and and soft inside. Good burger! Despite the weirdness of the possibly overly processed beef patty. That was their only downfall which I think could be easily fixed. There are so many other options to choose from that really excites me - buffalo wings, pulled pork sandwich, ribs, great selection of burgers and of course old school milkshakes and desserts. After letting them know I enjoyed the burger, they let me know they have a burger challenge called the "Big Bopper" which is pretty much the same burger as the Ranch with the addition of 2 extra patties, a schnitzel, a side of junkyard fries and a milkshake which you have to finish within 25 mins. Sufficed to say that I will be going back to test my manliness, and have since locked in Lo Lo to provide coverage of the glorious event. You know i'll be back, i've got work to do...

Their junkyard fries are to die for. Staff are also incredibly lovely. Great place for lunchread more

I ordered the Mac Daddy Burger Combo which includes a burger with 3 beef patties and 4 pieces of American cheese and their incredible burger/secret sauce as well as Curly Fries and a Drink. It cost me $19 which is very affordable especially with how much food you receive. The environment was very nice with great music, it has the classic American burger bar feel with the awesome red and white colour scheme. Love this Burger Bar and will definitely be coming here again. Although a bit of a big downside is there is no onsite parking, you have to park in the henry street complex parking across from the courthouse which only has 1 hour free which is disappointing otherwise great.

Their char grilled chicken burgers and special Dougie's sauce has everyone coming back for more, so it's easy to say while we might not be able to miss the fire-engine walls, we sure do miss those burgers every time we part a bittersweet farewell from the shop. Prices are relatively cheap ( it's no Macca's or Hungry Jacks, it's fellow competitors around Hurstville) but you can snag a decent meal for under $10 including a burger, chips and drink. But what makes Dougie's so special is its special Dougie's sauce that we just can't get enough of. On your chips, with your chicken or in your burger, it is crucial that you order that sauce with your meal next time you stop by and I'm saying 'next' because I'm certain that once you've been there, you'll be running back for more.
