Avoid this place at all costs. I can tell you it's gone well down hill since I last visited…read more(although my last visit was long ago.). There's a similar Yangtze in Belfast's Castlecourt foodhall that has also gone to the dogs. The food here (and Belfast Castlecourt) is now really grim and awful. It's really well overpriced for whats on offer too and there's not much on offer either. It's a business that is sowing the seeds of its own demise and only those still prepared to overpay their hard earned for rubbish will keep it open. The folks behind the counter aren't terribly friendly - so maybe they know they are offering poor overpriced food. This is a Bain Marie bath business. Cook up a pile of cheap food mid morning and have it sit for hours in stainless steel buckets held in a tepid water bath. It's cheap chicken every which way. No prawns on offer at all so no salted chilli prawn. You can have vegetarian food but that's accidental as they'll just exclude the otherwise ubiquitous chicken. If you like overpaying for poor food and you like tepid black bean gloop, or sweet & sour of a jam consistency with the sauce so thick (with a skin) that it is welded to the stainless steel container, or dark fried rice and dark fried noodles from cheap chemical soy sauce and too much salt then this place is for you.

All I can say is, "Be careful what you ask for!"…read more Staff were fantastic and the view is unbeatable! The restaurant itself is a little quirky, I mean it's Indian and Italian... Don't usually see that combination at least in my experience. I did find that they seem to do the Indian better than the Italian though. Although the Italian was definitely not great, it was good. Cajun chicken was not really what I expect from Cajun but it was pretty good. The pasta was just OK. Tasted sort of like a cacio e pepe which tends to be bland. Onto the good stuff, Indian food. The chutney and sauces that came out before the meal were absolutely fantastic. I don't know if I've had a better fig chutney (I think it was fig) and the spicy chutney was also incredible. So the "careful what you ask for" part: My daughter and I tend to have a very high threshold when it comes to spicy foods. That said, we did stay away from the hottest menu items and went with some thing in the high'ish range. To be frank, we hadn't found a lot of spicy in Northern Ireland that even remotely tested our limits so we were confident this would not be an issue. I'm not even sure what we ordered but everything was a searing hot blur on both sides of the table, mine and my daughters, from then on. The flavors were wonderful but this just hit different... Can't fault the business as the waiter warned. Still a solid five star experience. Note: The mint chutney was...just...incredible!

This would be ok but it is the sort of place you'd like to pop in to for a coffee and bite at lunch time. Here that's going to cost you close to or maybe even more than £10 by the time you get a coffee, main lunch (sandwich or sarnie/soup deal) and maybe a little something sweet for desert. To be fair I have to say the coffee although not exceptional is above average, and I think I'd say the same about the food.
