Quality of food when I went last night which was after 9:40pm, was atrocious. The fries were cold, crunchy, stale, and same goes for the double cheeseburgers. The buns on the double cheeseburgers also had ring of hard bread. This has been severely disappointing because usually it is tolerable quality, but this was sickening at best. How far are we gonna get with lack of quality or testing before someone is serious hospitalized? read more

Workers are always so nice to me but there's an issue every single time with my order. Constantly forget stuff or the wait time is outrageous. With how bad this location has been for so long the only person to blame is the franchise owner himself. I'm genuinely curious to know who it is at this point because I'm dumbfounded about how much they don't care about their own business. so many things wrong with this place. They gave my diabetic aunt a CARMEL iced coffee. Checked three times to make sure to the worker, who didn't speak English, to make sure it was sugar free vanilla. Went inside and found out this man had two fucking earbuds in. If you want stale buns, dried out meat product, 1 and a half pickles, 5 tiny onion slivers, very little ketchup and even less mustard than this is your place! I was the only person in the drive thru with only 1 person dining in so it wasn't they were over worked. In fact the 2 workers I saw were twiddling their thumbs. This wasn't my first visit with this experience but it will be my last. Seems this type of "service" at McDonald's is pretty common for the entire chain. I go to this McDonald's everyday seeing as I live nearby and I went to get my family there food it was order of biscuits and gravy 2 orders of hash browns and 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits with 4 hash browns then we said 3 apple pies At 8:40 am They said they were out At 8 see the problem I'm having is this lady was Rude My father was speaking clearly when he ordered the food and she was utterly rude saying I CANT UNDERSTAND YOU when she was English and he was English speaking clearly and we were right beside the speaker and she did it 3 times I'm sorry what did you say And out of all the hash browns she only gave us 4 not 6 she was so focused on talking with her co worker she did not care for the customer I looked at the receipt she did not Put her name down All I see is sidel I am Disappointed with this McDonald's and will no longer go to them for Breakfast. read more

I read Carla B's review and was surprised how eerily similar our experience was with hers being over a year later. It appears nothing has changed for the better at this location. There is still a woman who seems to be in a management position barking orders at employees who look upset and run around like chickens with their heads cut off...and for no reason. I would understand it possibly if the place was busy but it wasn't so it's very odd to watch...a bizarre experience I've never seen at any other McDonald's in the US, Canada or Europe. The Happy Meal we got was also slapped together like Carla B's and appeared to have been man-handled. And with my cheeseburger, I originally thought this McDonald's used extra large pieces of cheese and that's why the slice was extending way beyond the bun. I soon realized though it was the usual size slice but was barely inside the bun having been haphazardly thrown on and was just hanging there. I'm glad we were just traveling and I won't have to deal with this place on a regular basis. read more

This McDonald's North on Baldwin Ave is the closest one to my house. I drive to another McDonald's farther away because there is always a problem at this one with the order incorrect or the owner/manager being rude. It does no good to contact the corporate office about this location because it's a franchise and the owner/manager will not respond to complaints. Every 6 months or so, because it's so close to me, I try to give this McDonald's another chance to see if hopefully things have changed for the better. Sadly it is still the same. We got up to the register before 10:30am and the young girl took our breakfast order. After reading back our breakfast order, while I had the money in hand to pay, the UNFRIENDLY manager lady snaps at the young cashier, "It is now lunch. We are no longer serving breakfast!". The manager did not acknowledge me nor apologize. The young girl explains to the manager that it doesn't say "lunch" in the corner of her screen, nor did the menu change from breakfast to lunch. The manager woman said to the girl that they couldn't take breakfast orders even though it was NOT 10:30am yet with no explanation why not. Other customers waiting in line were whispering amongst themselves that breakfast was over but no one made the announcement. After placing our BREAKFAST order, we were told we had to change it to lunch. The menu had not changed to show lunch so we did not know what we wanted. I asked for a Southern Style Chicken Combo Meal and the cashier asks me, "What number is that?" I looked at her surprised and told her I had no way of knowing because the breakfast menu is still up. The manager lady was snapping at all her employees, being very rude to the customers. When I got my granddaughter's Happy Meal, the food was turned upside down with her fries all on the bottom of the Happy Meal bag and her cheeseburger sandwich was sitting out of it's wrapper because the manager woman was being rough with our order. I will gladly waste the gas to continue to travel to the McDonald's which is much farther from where I live. read more

The drive through line service was good, but my sandwich (bacon egg and cheese bagel) was made wrong (they didn't put the egg on) I turned around and went inside. No one was in line, but it took a while for someone to wait on me. I explained what had happened and showed the sandwich (that I had only unwrapped). The counter server went to get the manager who was very curt. I showed her the problem and gave her the bagel that was made wrong and she continued to look at me as if I was lying. No apologies only suspicious looks. I would not recommend conning here when there so many other options. read more

Can I give negative stars? Drive through was incredibly slow. Our order was not read back to us, nor was it shown on the screen for verification . . . Isn't that the purpose of the screen? Get to the window to pay and the person working the window opens the window with his phone in his hand (now I know why we are moving so slowly), closes the window without taking the change I'm trying to hand him. He finally opens the window back up for me to give him the $.59. Big shocker that our order was wrong and we paid $17.59 for food which included three still frozen in the middle hash browns. read more

Both stores in Marion Indiana are struggling, hopefully some day they can get people who want to do a good job, and the south store looks like crap, needs painted, and a real speaker system that shows you your items, I'm surprised that corporate doesn't give a flying french fry about these store. Second review: it's no better, chicken buttermilk really sucks it tasted like fake meat, terrible . I avoid this McDonald's if possible. On more than one occasion, I pull up to the drive-thru (has two lines) and they tell me they will be right with me and then proceed to take the order of the vehicle that pulled up after me at the other lane. Makes me furious. More than once I have driven off because of this. Rarely do I get napkins in my bag when going through the drive-thru. Food looks like it is "thrown" together. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a very cheerful person at the window and other times, you don't get a smile, hello, or anything else. The wait in the drive-thru is ridiculous at times. I am done. I am never eating at the McDonald's at 1225 N Baldwin Ave again. Three times, three times in a row they have gotten my order wrong. The first time was a few months ago. I ordered two McGriddles about 5 minutes before lunch. I got two biscuits. Took them back where the cashier took them back to the kitchen where I overheard one of the sandwich makers complained that breakfast is over. The cashier came back told me there was nothing that they could do. How is this my fault? They are the ones that got my order wrong, lunch or no lunch. Take some responsibility. Next, going through the drive through where I ordered some chicken nuggets. They charged and gave out my order to the car before me and I had to double check to make sure they didn't over charge me. It took them 10 minutes to figure out what they did wrong. Lastly, last week, ordered two McGriddles. Came up on screen as two McMuffins. I reminded them twice that they were McGriddles. I got home, opened the sandwiches up, McMuffins. I called them up, they said they remembered me going through the drive-thru and said they would replace my meal. I live in LaFontaine. I only go to Marion when I have to. I go back to claim my meal only to be scolded that I took too long to reclaim my meal. As if they manager I talked to didn't write my name down. This is customer service at it's worse and believe me, there are going to be some phone calls. read more

We occasionally stop here after Church on Sunday evening. We don't stop more often because of the incredibly POOR service. Last night we stopped and there was only 1 person waiting on customers while many other employees were wandering around behind the counter (including the manager) stocking etc. and completely ignoring customers. There was one couple in front of us and it still took 8 minutes before we were waited on. I really felt sorry for the woman behind us who was trying to keep 3 small children under control. We were almost finished with our meal before she finally got to her table. By the tine we left the lobby was filling up and still, no relief for the waiting customers. I was going to get a carry out but customers who came in as we were sitting down were still waiting to place their order. We just left. I have managed fast food restaurants in the past and would never have tolerated this blatant ignoring of the customers. read more
