I have been here six times in the last year. I have previously vowed never to go again but today I was feeling lucky. I was not lucky. I left the drive thru and went home (20 minutes away) and found that I am missing my fries and straw. Once I was there driving a large group after an event and we collectively were missing one order of fries and two Big Macs. Once I went and got someone else's order entirely. I live too far away to go back, and frankly it's not worth it. If you put all the food I have paid for and not recieved together, it would be dinner for two. I suppose I could always sit there in the drive thru line and go through my order to make sure it's all there before I leave, but you know where I don't have to do that? Party of 6 and we ordered a ton of food. Didn't take that long. Service was top notch. Ignore the electronic kiosks. The staff will get you thru the order. They sell a double filet-o-fish. It tasted as good as they can taste. They even played ABBA's "Waterloo" on the intercom. Well, I thought that was cool. Also, did you know this area is where Avril LaVigne grew up. Fries were fresh and refills galore. Excellent emergency meal option when traveling on the QEW. read more

We went here as a pit stop. We got the 2 Can Dine combo from the coupon booklet. As would be with most fast food restaurants I've been to, the experience was overall underwhelming. First off, the electronic kiosk failed to print our receipt, so we needed to talk to the staff to figure out our order number. In addition, the wait time for each other seemed to range from 5-10 min on a sunny afternoon, which leaves room for improvement. Overall, service leaves something to be desired. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very interesting. The first thing you notice is the sheer number of people leaving little room to move through. Then, as you look down, there are buts of food and fries all over the floor, seats, and tables. Obviously, the hectic shift to lunch has left the restaurant in an entropic state. What caught me off guard was the hospitality of the manager. He ensured that everything was in place, and made small talk with some of the customers, who seemed to have been charmed by his presence. Food was alright. Overall: 4.5/10 Verdict: wouldn't advise eating here as a pit stop. read more

All The cars around me were getting frustrated, swearing, honking, it was a horrible experience for likely cold food that I didn't wait to eat :( went across the street to pizza pizza instead and got 2 slices for $5. Was a horrible experience! Went in to order for myself and co-workers and needed to modify my order. The girl taking my order was great but she was new and didn't know how to punch in my request to she asked for help. Unfortunately the next girl also didn't know how to punch it in so they called a manager, Danny. Well needless to say Danny was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. He immediately made the girl stop taking my order and he ordered me to walk away from the cash because he wasn't letting them take my order. After explaining to him what it was that I needed to order he immediately said no he wasn't going to allow the modification to the food. Since when cant you order your food the way you want to. I tried again multiple times to explain to him what it was that I needed and he interrupted me multiple times. I told him that I knew he had the authority to make the modification as I use to work for McDonalds and he paused and thought for a second before saying "No I am not going to do that for you". I told him that I thought he was being rude and that he needed to let me finish speaking as he kept interrupting me and then he stood there with his arms crossed and said "go ahead". I went on to say how disappointed I was with him and his customer service and this was not how he should treat people. I then asked for him to provide me with his store managers name, contact number (ext) and the store owners information. He was quick to say the store managers name was Kevin so I asked for it written down including last names. He then went on to say it was Kevin McDonald....yup not the managers last name. He then walked to the back of the store and about 5 minutes later came back with a piece of paper with only the store managers name and the store phone number. I then had to ask for the franchise information and he scribble the one name (no last name or anything) on the paper and no contact information. I will definitely be following up with the store manager and the franchise owners as this manager was completely unnecessarily rude. read more
