Lovely little bakery with plenty of charm and great eats. My husband and I were in town for a…read morewedding and had breakfast on the patio back to back over the weekend with our pup (it's dog friendly) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The one thing I would say stood out enough to detract from a 5-star experience was an overall lack of service. You order inside and they bring your food to you, but service is slow, and both days we noticed that the staff don't really engage patrons unless spoken to first. This can make it very hard to figure out exactly how to order, if seating is self-service (it is), etc. it was insanely hot when we visited, for example, and while one day we were able to get larger glasses for water, the next they refused to give anything larger than a glorified shot glass...despite serving our mimosas in the same larger glasses. Overall it just read of a young team that was slightly disconnected and not overly concerned with customer experience, and that's something that made things take longer than necessary and put a slight damper on an overall wonderful experience.

This bakery had a station at the Banff farmer's market. I tried the savory scone, garlic twist, and…read morepain au chocolat -- they were all delicious! Dylan was one of the workers taking care of the station, and he is very friendly and the one who offered me the vegetable scone. I'm sad that I live all the way in California because I would totally buy from this bakery all the time if I could :) The baked goods are made with sourdough starter too, which definitely makes them a healthy choice!

Did not enjoy my experience here. The restaurant is marketed horrible and is not at all what we…read morewere expecting. The food was cold when is was suppose to be hot and wlity when it was suppose to be crisp. The staff was not well trained and mostly young kids, the manager is the owners daughter and not a good manager at all, certainly the wrong job position for her personality as she has no people skills and obviously unable to handle her temper when confronted on under cooked food. I never raise my voice nor fight, I also ensure I always tell managers whenever there has be wonder service, food and/or experience since then do not hear nearly enough positive but this is one case that it wouldn't matter if I yelled or spoke softly the manager was on defence from the moment she heard my food was still frozen. Overall a horrible experience slightly compensated after I physically searched down the owner of the businesses by going to the garden shop and requesting to speak with her directly.

They didn't charge us for the crab cakes, but got irritated with us when we brought up the salad size issue. Service was friendly but inexperienced. She didn't know the menu well, and forgot to bring basics like sugar for coffee and waters.

I love that they have lists of health benefits explaining what pollen can help with, also there is another product I forgot the name has numerous health benefits!! They have free wine sampling which was awesome, but you can put some $$ towards a fundraiser they have for their samples they offer great idea!! We loved most of the wines! They also have guys that make the wine called meaders! They have tours as well for school groups, and probably adults too if you ask!! I love it here and will be back for sure!!

The Chinook Honey Company shop is stocked will all sorts of honey infused items such as: candles,…read morewine, mead, tea, candy, salves, lotion, lip chap, soaps, and other beauty care products. They also have different flavours anf kinds of honey that were all superb, they even had chocolate honey! We purchased mead and wine from them before, which were quite sweet, but were great dessert beverages. On our recent visit we bought some creamy unpasteurized honey, hand salve, honey lip chap, mini soap, and bath bomb. The honey is great, just love how creamy it is. The hand salve is amazing, it works great with my fiance's extremely dry hands and I just love the honey mint fragrance it has. The lip chap is great as well, it would be better if it actually tasted like honey, but it's still superb. Both the mini soap and bath bomb were both amazing as well, the soap we bought uses Saskatoon berries and smells really fruity (which we love). We didn't get to do the bee tour since we had other appointments, but we definitely recommend visiting the shop for all your honey cravings!
