Although I have been stopping by this McDonalds for years, this is the first time I have written a review. Don't mistake what I'm saying here, the "only" reason I have continued to stop by here is strictly do to its amazing location and not the service. The quality of the food is what you expect from a McDonalds, no more no less. But continually time and time again, this is by far the SLOWEST McDonalds I have ever been to! Whether it is the drive threw or the walk in, the place is SLOW! The staff is fine, very friendly but way, way understaffed. This is not an employee problem but an owner problem. Beautiful location inside and out of a newly remodeled location. Unfortunately the experience does not meet the hype. The sanitizer station near the soda machine was empty today. I went to wash my hands only to find there were no paper towels in the ladies room. When I mentioned this to the cashier he told me to get some napkins by the soda machine. Instead of filling it on a slow day he proceeded to engage in a conversation with the staff including he manager. When my food was ready I asked for one thing only which was a package of honey. I seem to be bothering them. Very weird vibe. My food was hot, fresh and the soda area was clean. The tables were not wiped down. This location could use a little help and would do much better. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. We visited supposedly a tried and true establishment on our way back out of town. First, we had to continue to repeat everything as the drive thru order taker kept interrupting us. Then, when we got to the window, needed to clarify a quarter pounder order, as they had gotten it wrong. Third, they forgot an item so we had to get out and go inside after already driving away. And finally, the cheeseburgers were cold (cheese wasn't even melted), and the chicken nuggets were hard and old. This all happened during the 7:00pm hour. I guess we deserve this, as you get what you pay for. read more

We started going to this location as soon as it was built because it was really close to our home. After the first two visits after opening, the staff changed and everything went downhill. At this point, it's reached the bottom of the hill and burrowed into the ground! There have maybe been two or three times when they have remembered to put all the items ordered into my bags in the drive thru. Four out of the last five times I have gone through the drive thru, I've had to pull back around front and go inside to get my remaining items that were just sitting in the sandwich holding area! They just say sorry and give them to me, but never fix the issue for the future! The food is always sloppy and the buns are usually burnt black. I know stuff isn't going to look like the commercials, but I don't want to eat something that looks like dog food between two carbon crusted pucks of bread! This isn't a review of all McDonald's, just this location. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! The service is terrible, the food is terrible, and every experience I've had there is terrible! I hope corporate steps in and cleans out the staff to get a crew that actually cares. read more

First off, that Elite member came on a good day. I live down the street. Rude staff. They close early a lot and ignore people's calls and orders, please higher better people or watch your cameras and check on your employees. I came one night and whoever was working avoided serving or answer the phones. They aren't responsible, good or capable enough people, obviously. The food doesn't taste good or right usually, it's just not as good as other McDonalds even mediocre attempts. They always forget something, if you ask for extra dip they still only give you one. It's weird because it's not a bad area and you would assume it wouldn't be the worst McDonalds in Phoenix, but it is. It sucks having this right down the street but I constantly avoid it because I know I will leave angry or not satisfied or I might potentially be sitting there for 20 minutes being ignored by your great employees who don't do their actual jobs. I've sat at the second order window and have been ignored while brand new drivers go before me. I just drive down the street to Burger King or Jack in the Box. This place is the worst. They then gave my food to the occupants of the car in front of me, who rooted through my food, then returned my food to the window clerk. The clerk then attempted to serve the food to me. Two cars in front of me in line to get food... I just pulled up. It's now 8:55 and there is still a car in front of me waiting for their food. I have not even ordered. The fries tend to be warm and a little mushy. The drive thru is slow during lunch. The last time there was a drive-through delay, they gave me a free apple pie which was very nice even though the fries were still warm and soggy. I had a mobile order and went through the drive through. Apparently my order didn't go through on their end even though I was charged. I wasn't upset about that, I understand things happen. However, when handed my ice cream by a male crew member, I noticed a white hair on the top of my ice cream. I immediately grabbed a crew members attention who happened to be the only female working there, her name is Melanie (sorry if I don't get your name right sweetheart). She immediately fixed my ice cream for me and as she was giving me the ice cream, the same male crew member that handed me the first one asked me how a hair got on my ice cream. Meaning to say that because he is bald it couldn't have possibly been him so it must have been me. I have dark brown hair and the ice cream never made it into my car because I immediately noticed the hair. To that man, you were very rude and I should have checked you the moment it happened, but your co-worker Melanie was so polite and sweet to me, I decided to spare you. Be like Melanie, do better. This has got to be the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We don't eat fast food often, but when we do we want it to at least be fresh. The fries are always hard and cold and every time I go through the drive through they mess up my order, EVERY TIME. It's also priced way higher than any other McDonalds in the area. My last and final time into this restaurant I went inside to make sure the order was right and all the employees were on their phones, the fries were cold and hard, and the guy taking my order had no clue what he was doing and had super dirty finger nails. This is by far the worst McDonalds location I've ever been too. I wish I could give 0 star. As others stated they seem to always screw up the order. They consistently 100% so far have screwed up every meal I've ordered. I've gone in complained and they complain back or scoff at you. Tonight was the breaking point. I order 2 kids meals for my kids, a VERY simple order. They rang it up incorrectly for 2 burger happy meal (1 should be nugget like the damn screen said) and assured it would be served correctly a window. Trusting them and not checking I drive home to find out, 1 order is a burger instead of nuggets. No straws, Fries missing on one order and onions on both burgers which I explicitly said no ONION. 1 simple request. This has happened multiple times at this location and I have had enough. I will not be returning here. Maybe a drug test or two is needed because the same employees consistently screw up everything between communication as well as serving the order. I am sick and tired of having to go back or inside to redeem my correct order while being treated like I was the one who did something wrong. FIX THIS ISSUE. Disgusting location. I supposed each shift manager should have the basic knowledge on the promotional details at any McDonald's, but I guess I was wrong. We figured to try out their new promotion to create your signature recipes sandwich with free medium drink and free medium fries. But obviously it took awhile for the shift manager to check on the promotional sign with the answer to us, "The computer is not showing the special." Then we asked, "Did you see the sign by the drive-thru?" He said, "Yes. But the computer is not showing it." So I basically told him to take the order off (2 sandwiches with the special deals), except for the large ice coffee. Suggestion from the corporate? I do not know. I can't believe I am even reviewing a McDonalds but it had to be done. I just went in for an iced nonfat coffee. When I got to the 2nd window the guy handed me the coffee hot. I corrected him politely and said that I ordered it iced. He rolled his eyes and took the coffee back. Next thing I know he hands me an iced cup... With the SAME HOT COFFEE IN IT with melted ice floating around. Was it really SO MUCH WORK to remake me an iced coffee how I ordered it the right way? When I asked if he had just put ice in the same hot coffee he said "Well it comes out hot anyway." That's a complete lie. He was just too lazy and rude to remake it. By the time I got home (3 mins away) it was melted, watered down and lukewarm. I called the location and spoke to the "manager" (some lady with broken English) and she kept interrupting me and just telling me to come back and get it the right way. So I went to McDonalds last Wednesday. The drive thru was pretty busy, so I decided to go inside. Yeah, it's dinner time and it seemed like the crew was more focused on the drive thru and could care less about guests @ the register! When we finally got our order taken, we had to wait, and wait and wait! The crew was still focused on the drive thru and guests in the dining room still had to wait to have their order taken & food handed out. When we got home the fries were cold and very salty. Blah! So on Saturday, I figured I would try them again. I was certain it was their dinner time rush from my last visit . This time I was smart and went to the drive thru. I ordered double cheese burgers no pickles and french fries. The burgers still had pickles on them & the fries were cold and salty again! I have been to this McDonald's one too many times. More times than not there service is sub-standard even for a McDonald's. I had made the decision to not go back, however they were supposedly under new management after their remodel. Guess again, they either rehired the same idiots or just trained new ones to be that dumb. Today the manager was extremely rude about a mistake her worker made while taking the order. It took 3 times of her refunding and reordering to get it right. How hard is to ring in 3 items (none of which were a Quarter Pounder) and get it wrong and different totals. No apology only a sarcastic, "Are you happy now!" remark. And just a note, you CANNOT get your drink large at this McDonald's without upsizing the entire meal. Without question the worst McD's in the history of America. My first visit to the drive through was so bad. it should have been on video. If I could prove it, I would say that the entire staff was really stoned. It took 5 people to get my order of an ice cream cone. Most bizarre experience ever. Second visit very similar. However, this time, only saw one employee that looked and acted stoned. My order? Completely wrong. Third visit? Actually not bad. No one seemed stoned. Everyone seemed normal. The guy who took my payment was super friendly and wished me a good day. Pulled to the next window and they handed me my McDouble in a happy meal box and said they were handing out smiles.
