I only eat this garbage about four times a year. I usually ask for unsalted fries but decided to ask for lightly salted. They were SO much saltier than normal. It's like the staff want to play a freaking joke not realizing that they can literally kill someone with high blood pressure, which I have. Been going here for years and unfortunately place is always filthy no matter what time you go now. Not sure if management has changed but, it's a shame. Food order is always wrong, they forget parts of your order and when you go back and ask for it you have to wait forever meanwhile the rest of your food now gets cold. I came here at night with my friend to get dessert after having dinner together. You order things at the electronic board. Then wait to pick it up at the counter. There were a few other tables of people getting dinner. When we were approached, it looked like the whole store was empty besides for one older gentleman who was eating. My friend and I talked about how nice the furniture was and she said that she normally comes here a lot because it's close to your house. There are a lot of parking spaces outside and two lanes for the drive-through. Their bathroom doors have unique stick figures rather than boring old men and women signs. I had a bad experience here though. My friend and I were asked to leave at 11:30 even though the store close at 12. We were singled out because the other person that was eating there didn't leave and was never asked to leave. I understand if other people are waiting for a seat or they needed us to leave to clean or even if everybody was being treated equally and had to leave too. But that isn't what I saw. Someone who worked there approached my friend and I and asked us "You guys have to leave at 11:30, okay?" We complied and did leave before that because we thought he was closing up and was kicking everyone else out too. But that wasn't the case. So first off the food is amazing I usually get fries and the fries are floppy and I like floppy fries most of the time cause I'm so used to McDonald's. They're either really seasoned or not seasoned but most of the time they're in the middle but this thing is so amazing the Nuggets sometimes they give you an extra such nice service Got the nicest people there on the music is there is great. Been there a few times and they always got my order right, the staff is also pretty nice, which is weird bcos I don't usually fraternize with McDonalds staff except here. Cool decor, lots of seating, fast & nice service, plenty of parking. what can you say about mcdonalds??? the food is ok nothing special and all the mcdonalds are the same as far as that goes the workers are always friendly and helpful and always get the food out pretty quickly. if you are looking for quick easy not super healthy food mcdonalds is great. i like there fries better than most of there competitors. i feel mcdonalds is also a pretty good bargain, price wise. read more

I struggled with this review. The servers are great, both nice and prompt, the facility seems to be very clean, they have an electronic ordering machine that's excellent, really all-around quality. Why I struggled...it's still McDonalds. Don't get me wrong. I love McDonalds. But then, it's still just McDonalds. You get me? Anyway, I asked my six year old what she thought. Waiting for someone having a surgery at Plainview hospital. So I walk to this McDonald's. I have to say I am surprisingly impressed. The place is immaculate with very comfortable seating. What impressed me the most was the very friendly cheerful staff. Very rare to see a team of people that get along so well they all seem to be happy to be at work. Always slow and always a mistake in my order. This tiime after I waited almost 20 minutes in the parking lot for my mobile order, one of my happy meals was missing part of the order so I had to go in; what was the point of ordering mobile. So....by the time I arrived home all of the fries were cold and I was missing the chicken nugget sauce. I will be driving a little further from now on because I refuse to go here again. read more

Recently visit this location multiple times. All the staffs are super nice. The manager is a nice gentleman who would walk in the rain and stop the cars on old country road to help his customer cars go through. Thumbs up! Always always love their fresh fries. read more

I actually come here lots of times and I always have a pretty decent experience. This McDonalds is one definitely a very modern and clean one compared to many others. I very much enjoy the handy kiosks that allows me to see about everything there is in the menu of McDonald's. But occasionally, they do sometimes make my order wrong and they are a bit slow. Yesterday my wife and I came inside with my two grandchildren for an after school snack. We were greeted by Helen. Helen spoke to each of us personally about our orders and made recommendations to provide the most for the least. She was extremely patient as my two grandkids changed their minds several times. She was super professional and probably the nicest and most attentive McDonalds employee I have ever come across! Helen then served our food right to our table and made sure everything was in order. Kudos to Helen! We travel up and down 95 between Long Island and NC and frequent McDonalds often along the way. Usually we encounter rude, unhappy, unmotivated employees that hate their job and it shows! Additionally, the Plainview McDonalds was immaculate. The feel was bright and comfortable. This is a very conveniently located McDonald's for anyone who works at NSLIJ Plainview hospital. It is right across the way over the route 135 overpass eastbound from the hospital. Let me say that I had a very nice young man fill my order who was professional. He seemed rather young, but he still took my order quickly and informed me calmly whether or not I can do certain substitutions: Some McDonald's would exchange the fries for Parfait and this one did not. Coffee was a change for soda. When it comes to McDonald's, the food is quality controlled to be about the same wherever you go. Service and environment is the only difference between one and another. Truthfully, this McDonald's would only get a 3.5 but since the last review made very little sense and gave them only 2 stars, I felt like giving them the extra 0.5 to even things out. Place is clean. People are professional and they even offer a free little cup of ice cream for children who are accompanied by an adult. That is really nice. Imagine when you have to visit the hospital for any reason as a child. It is always nice to get a little ice cream because the hospital visit is so unpleasant no matter what. ALSO: I came here because Jane H. gave a Stony Brook McDonald's a bad review. They actually wanted her to go back to the same McDonald's to give it a second chance so they gave her a free meal card. Luckily, I got to use it at another Long Island branch and they didn't give me much trouble about it. I truely believe some branches just try harder than others. read more

ok i'm doing it... writing a review on a fast food joint. And all because of the McRibs that are back for a few weeks. So good so good..... I've been trying to work out, and all the working out I did on Tuesday was messed up by the McRibs on Wednesday. Which lead me to today, where i ate pizza and donuts for lunch.... I'll tell ya, McDonalds leads to poor habits, but that's really me blaming a fast food place instead of blaming my poor self-control, which is something that i'll share with a therapist if it ever comes down to me needing one..... which might be soon since i think there's a fatboy living inside of me. But I digress. LOVE this McDonald's. Been coming here on and off since i was a kid. Mary was always there giving me and my sister ice cream when we were kids. My dad even got his own serving of kid's free ice cream from her! she was awesome. She made us want to come back again and again. (again blaming poor mary for our poor self control) Fast forward a few years, and suddenly they have a robotic Moon Head guy playing the piano and moving his head (which would occasionally be replaced? by a lion head guy), reminding me of Ray Charles. Cool and definitely different. Fast forward many years later. I came back one morning with my bf, and mary was there again. She probably forgot who i was, but i didn't forget her. She was so personable, chitchatting with us and even giving us marriage advice ahah. This McDonalds is great. Managers will take my coupons and sometimes even give me my coupons back just so i could use them again if i wanted to. And they'll even give me coupons for delaying my order a few minutes. And they even change my white bread to honey wheat, like they did last night with the McRibs. And going back to the McRibs, they were so delicious i couldn't just have one. They were so delicious i didn't want to brush my teeth that night just so i could go to sleep with that taste in my mouth. nasty. Did i do that or not? I'll never tell. well maybe I will. read more

I am not a fan of McDs, but my daughter enjoys it as a treat. The restaurant is immaculate and the staff is nice, but the service tends to be slow. I've had more than one issue here with messed up orders via the drive-thru ("They F**k you at the drive-thru"). At busy times the fries have been undercooked. This is a good McDonalds. I've been here a few times. For some reason whenever I order on the mobile app my order is never received by McDonalds. Happened to me multiple times. Not sure if it has to do with the type of phone I have but I have a smart phone and it should work. I don't think it's the fault of this particular McDonalds but this does need to be fixed. This McDonald's drive through service is very fast and efficient. However, since they are so fast they always forget a part of the order. This happens altleast 2/5 times. Its a McDonalds., blah, not much to say. The drive thru is quick and the coffee is good. Other than that its your typical McDonalds.

I ordered my food like a normal person and then when I was getting my cups I saw hairs on the cups and it was so gross then I grasped the cup under it and it had a booger with a hair on it and my final statement was when I got my Big Mac it was lacking pickles and the special sauce so I don't recommend this mc Donald's. read more

I often come to this Mcdonalds location after a hard overnight shift at work I would come here around 5pm or so service is usually quick and friendly and the food is most of the time top quality. I love the new kiosk machine they had recently put in the lobby. The only issue that I have sometimes is that if you try a place an order try check your food because most of the people that work here are spanish but they are friendly and usually admit if they make a mistake. read more
