Burger Joint reminds me of the cookouts that I've been to back home. The fresh lettuce and tomato, on top of a good patty. Island City Mall is a 3 floor shopping complex that is clean, organised and modern. You have to pass through mall security to enter and exit and all stores/businesses have security personnel also. Which is a nice feature in modern society. The mall was packed with people and Jollibee had a large crowd inside. The customers were mostly families, women with young children. It was impressive how this Jollibee restaurant ran in a precise machine like manner to handle the large flow of customers. I ordered the Jolly Super Meal, a fried chicken drumstick (Chickenjoy), small cup of white rice with a small gravy holder, burger steak patty in mushroom gravy, spaghetti covered with a sweet ketchup type sauce topped with shredded cheese, soft drink. The Chickentjoy, rice was tasty, the rest was ok. I did not care for the ketchup spaghetti. If you need to visit the bathroom (comfort room) there are no sinks. Sinks are located in the wash area which is beside the comfort doors. Jollibee is the Philippine version of McDonalds/KFC. Note: No meal in the Philippines is complete unless rice is served. Rice is a requirement for every meal.
